Note: This is the free version of MatchTime and limits each of the four levels to only two exercises. You can unlock the full version through the in-app store. MatchTime™ Software features a programmed learning approach for students who struggle with time concepts. Four progressively difficult levels provide sequences of multiple choice exercises. Students simply find the clock that matches the large sample clock in the first three levels. Level 4 introduces the concepts of “earlier” and “later.” Uses both digital and analog clocks. Extensive record keeping tracks student progress. Level 1 focuses on matching the hour hand, while Level 2 introduces 15 minute intervals. Level 3 provides exercises using all the minutes, and Level 4 progresses to clocks that are up to four hours earlier or later than the sample.

About

Telling Time

Features

Telling Time helps children learn to read the clock and turn spoken times into digital ones. Each question shows an analog clock, a time in words, or both – like “quarter to five in the afternoon”. Your child types the answer as a 24-hour time (16:45) on a big, friendly keypad and gets instant feedback. FOUR LEVELS • Easy – whole and half hours • Medium – quarters and ten-minute steps • Hard – every five minutes • Extreme – any minute, on a clock face without tick marks LEARN FROM EVERY ANSWER A wrong answer is shown next to the right time, so mistakes turn into understanding. At the end of each round, a summary shows every answer at a glance. MORNING OR EVENING? An analog clock only shows twelve hours, so the part of the day – in the morning, in the afternoon, in the evening, at night – is always on screen. Every question has exactly one right answer. NINE LANGUAGES The app follows the language of your device and uses each language’s own way of telling the time: English, Swedish, Finnish, Norwegian, Danish, German, French, Spanish and Italian. YOU DECIDE • Show the clock face, the text, or both • Choose 5, 10, 15 or 20 questions per round • Works on iPhone and iPad, in light and dark mode No ads, no accounts and no data collection – just practice.
