Basic KNX is an application that allows us to quickly and easily test a KNX installation. To use this application, you must have a running KNX installation which must have an interface with the IP network (KNX/IP Gateway). This application connects and submits data through "Tunnelling Services" provided by the KNXnet/IP protocol. In future updates, we will add the sending data capability through the "Routing Services". The application works when the iPhone/iPad is connected to the same network as the KNX/IP interface. This can be via Wi-Fi or VPN. This application allows the sending of BOOLEAN, BYTE, WORD and DOUBLE WORD data. At the moment the application is in English and Spanish. Other languages will be supported in future updates. For a more complete control of your installation, we invite you to use the Easy KNX application. If you have any suggestion or question, please contact us at software@iecor.com.
