ORBIT is a gravity simulator at the heart of a puzzle game. Launch planets with a flick of your finger, and try to get them into stable orbits around black holes. Can you make enough orbits to progress to the next level? New: ORBIT now features a Sandbox (paid) where you can create your own levels! Control time, disable collisions, and paint with gravity. Publish your creations to the world for everyone to play. • 45 free levels, with new mechanics are introduced over time — like repulsive black holes and planets with their own gravity that attract each other • Play community-created levels — virtually limitless content made by other players, all completely free • Launch as many planets as you like, and watch the mesmerizing orbital mechanics unfold • Planets leave colored traces, so that at the end of a level you will have created a beautiful piece of art • See the future trajectory of a planet before you launch it • Play in an environment of smooth, minimalist graphics while listening to relaxing classical piano Follow on Twitter: https://twitter.com/highkeygames Follow on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/highkeygames

Block Stack is a physics stacking game with one rule: don't let anything fall. Drag blocks from the dock, drop them onto your tower, and stack as high as you can. REAL PHYSICS, REAL TENSION Every block obeys gravity, friction, and momentum. No grids, no snap-to guides — just you, the blocks, and the laws of physics. A careless placement can send your entire tower into a slow, agonizing lean. THE GAME THAT LEARNS HOW YOU PLAY An adaptive algorithm watches your tower — scanning its shape, measuring its tilt, tracking how well you play — and designs each round to match your skill level in real time. You'll never notice it working. You'll just feel like every round matters. 28 BLOCK SHAPES, 3 TIERS OF CHALLENGE Start with simple squares and dominoes. As your tower grows, L-shapes and trominos enter the mix. Push past 30 blocks high and face S-pieces, Z-pieces, T-pieces, and the dreaded I-bar. FEATURES - One-handed portrait play — perfect for commutes and queues - Haptic feedback on every placement - Smooth camera that follows your tower as it climbs - Background shifts from park green to deep space as you ascend - Auto-save when you leave - No ads. No in-app purchases. No data collection.

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Block Stack at none against Orbit's 7. Block Stack also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 2 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Orbit's advantage is ratings volume (7.6K vs 3) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Orbit sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Block Stack asks for nothing beyond the download.
Block Stack holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Orbit has 7.6K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 94% of Orbit's written reviews are positive against 100% of Block Stack's.
Orbit ships an update every 2 months, Block Stack every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 12, 2026 respectively.
