About

DigniView

Features

DigniView helps keep Safari webpage images covered until they can be checked against your selected modesty policy. Every filtering feature is included for everyone at no charge. There is no subscription, trial, or account to set up. DigniView includes: • Strict or Moderate whole-image filtering in Safari • Women Only and Men & Women audience settings • Automatic cloud image checks after your image-sharing consent • Automatic reconnection and conservative on-device backup during outages • Protection during infinite scrolling and image replacement • Local analysis cache, privacy controls, and parental passcode settings Choose Strict or Moderate in Settings. Strict keeps the current clothing rules. Moderate allows fully covered people wearing opaque pants or leggings, including fitted leggings, while continuing to screen exposed body areas, sheer clothing, underwear, swimwear and explicit content. Detailed clothing checks use cloud analysis; on-device backup remains conservative. When you first open DigniView, it guides you through image-sharing permission. Once you agree, cloud checks run automatically while you browse with the Safari extension enabled. Safely dressed people can remain visible when cloud analysis confirms they meet the policy. Uncertain or inaccessible images stay hidden while protection is active. Only normalized webpage image pixels and your selected filtering mode are sent through DigniView's private service to OpenAI for modesty and explicit-content classification. Image URLs, search terms, page titles, filenames, alt text, and surrounding webpage text are not sent. You can withdraw consent in Privacy Details at any time. If you decline or withdraw image sharing, DigniView still provides conservative on-device protection, which hides detected people because it cannot assess clothing. DigniView works only on webpage content Safari makes available to extensions. It cannot filter other apps, Safari browser controls, DRM media, closed shadow roots, protected cross-origin frames, or every frame of playing video. Detection is conservative but not guaranteed to be perfect.
