Turn pitch practice into a game you'll actually want to play. Embou listens as you play your instrument, then scores your intonation in real time — helping brass players build the ear that makes every note ring true. Playing your part is one of the oldest, most proven tricks in the book for improving intonation on a brass instrument. Embou builds a whole practice routine around it, so band students and community band players alike can train their ear anywhere, anytime — no teacher required. Pick your instrument — French horn, trumpet, trombone, euphonium, or tuba — and Embou shows you real engraved sheet music in the correct clef and transposition, every time. No guessing, no generic notation. Choose from a 12-song library of classic melodies spanning easy, medium, and hard difficulties. Slow things down with an adjustable tempo slider (or type an exact BPM), lock in with the metronome, and play along to algorithmic piano backing. As you play, a live on-device tuner shows your note against the target pitch, judging your accuracy in real time. Earn note combos, climb XP levels, and chase S-to-F song ranks, with confetti and crowd cheers waiting on the results screen when you nail a performance. Make it yours with accent color themes and light or dark appearance, and track your best ranks over time on your personal profile. Best of all, everything happens on your device. There are no accounts to create, no ads interrupting your practice, and no data collection of any kind — your microphone audio never leaves your phone. Whether you're prepping for chair placements, warming up before rehearsal, or just want to improve your pitch, Embou makes ear training feel like a game instead of a chore. Download Embou and start training your ear today.
