The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Happy Chicken at none against Egg, Inc.'s 10. Happy Chicken also leads on iOS requirement (10.0 vs 13.0). Egg, Inc.'s advantage is update cadence (every 11 days vs every 10 months) and rating (4.8 vs 4.4). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Egg, Inc. sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Happy Chicken asks for nothing beyond the download.
Egg, Inc. holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Egg, Inc. has 563K ratings behind it against 106, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 93% of Egg, Inc.'s written reviews are positive against 100% of Happy Chicken's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
