Here are several ideas for magic tricks that could be quite entertaining and mystifying for your audience: 1. Mind Reading Card Trick Setup: Tell your audience you can read their mind. Performance: Ask a volunteer to think of any card in a deck but not to say it out loud. You or an assistant pretends to concentrate, and then you show the phone/tablet displaying a card face down. With dramatic flair, you or your remote assistant changes the card to the one the volunteer is thinking of. Flip the phone/tablet to reveal the selected card. 2. Distance Card Prediction Setup: Claim that you have a connection with someone who has extraordinary psychic abilities. Performance: Your assistant is not in the room or possibly not even in the same building. A participant picks a card from a physical deck, and you send a secret signal to your assistant (or use a code word in conversation that is broadcast over a call). Your assistant updates the app to display the chosen card. You then reveal the phone/tablet showing the exact card they picked. 3. Impossible Card Location Setup: Claim that a card chosen by the audience will teleport to an impossible location. Performance: Have a card selected from a physical deck and then "lost" in the deck. Meanwhile, the app is displaying a card back, implying the card is ready to "teleport." After some magical gestures or storytelling, reveal that the card has "teleported" into the phone/tablet by flipping it over and showing the selected card on the screen. To maximize the impact of these tricks, it's important to build a narrative around each performance, engage your audience with compelling storytelling, and practice your timing and coordination with your assistant. The element of surprise, combined with the seamless integration of technology, will make these tricks unforgettable.
