Traditional screens are fantastic everywhere but outside, especially on a sunny day. E-ink screens work well, but e-readers like the Kindle are difficult to type on and don't support external keyboards. SolarWriter gives you the best of both worlds. SolarWriter runs on your iOS device and acts as a hub between your keyboard and your e-reader. You type on the keyboard, and the text appears on both on the iOS device and on the e-reader's screen (via its web browser). Take advantage of your Kindle's (or other e-reader's) e-ink screen to put your thoughts on paper even outside, with no need to transcribe later. Aimfully is a personal time log for choosing what to do, tracking focused time, and reflecting in one line. ■ Keep your timer in view See the remaining time on your Lock Screen with Live Activities on iOS 16.1 or later, and in the Dynamic Island on supported iPhones. Lock Screen display is free. Your task text stays hidden unless you choose to show it. ■ Find your focus sound Mix 20 offline sounds and adjust each one's volume directly on its card. Clock ticking and Rain are free; the other 18 sounds, including wind, waves and white noise, are included with Premium. Sounds keep playing when you close the sound panel or lock the screen, and stop when you pause or end the timer. ■ Start focusing in 3 seconds Choose a category, write one line about what you will do, and start the timer. The default is 25 minutes. While it runs, you can adjust it in 5-minute steps, correct the start time, or edit your intention. ■ Every session becomes a record Focused time and paused time are stored separately. Completed sessions, sessions ended early, and records added manually are clearly distinguished. ■ Reflection without pressure After a session, choose how it felt—focused, neutral, or distracted—and add an optional one-line note. You can always skip it. ■ See your day in color Daily and weekly timelines show category-colored blocks at a glance. You can also add time later when you could not run the timer. ■ Find your patterns View total focus time, session count, average length, distribution by category and intention, and mood ratios by day, week, or month. ■ Rest is part of the rhythm Use separate short and long breaks. Aimfully suggests a long break after enough focus, and you can set both lengths yourself. ■ A record without guilt Distracted time gets no penalty or red mark.
