From Gary Henry, devotionals with a difference. Daily motivation to take God more seriously. Both challenging and encouraging, WordPoints daily devotions will encourage you to focus on God and make positive choices. Bible study resources include daily meditations, study themes for families, articles, sermons, lectures, and much more. WHAT READERS ARE SAYING . . . Texas -- "Step by step the daily infusion of Gary's encouragement opened my eyes anew to the Christian walk. I could tell Gary had been where I was, and like a loving guide he helped me to take hold of the hand of Jesus once again. If you love C.S. Lewis, Gary Henry is a must-read." Wisconsin -- "Poignant, honest, and compassionate, Gary's daybook series has impacted my perspective on God more than any other writing outside the Bible itself. Gary's deep reverence for God and genuine desire to 'get it right' have motivated him to influence how an entire generation seeks after the Lord." Indiana -- "Gary Henry is the C.S. Lewis of the 21st century. I believe his books will endure the passing of time and will be called upon many years hence when future generations need truth, direction, gentle reprimand, and a reminder of Christian living." Alabama -- "Gary Henry's devotionals are the most substantive, most succinctly and efficiently expressed that I have ever read. His devotionals make me want to run to my Bible and get to know God better!" Arkansas -- "The encouragement I have received from Gary's blogs, websites, and articles cannot be measured. In times of discouragement, his thoughts and tips for coping have helped to lift my spirits and give me a sense of peace. He gives me a good reason for adjusting my attitude when it needs adjusting, a positive outlook when everything around me is negative."

Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Bible Hub at none against WordPoints's shown. Bible Hub also leads on ratings volume (121K vs 13) and update cadence (every 10 months vs every 40 months). WordPoints's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 87%) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for WordPoints against 4.9 for Bible Hub. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bible Hub has 121K ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of WordPoints's written reviews are positive against 87% of Bible Hub's.
WordPoints ships an update every 40 months, Bible Hub every 10 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
