Learn to fall without hurting yourself. Ukemi is the art of falling. It is what you learn first in most martial arts, and what you keep working on afterwards: a badly received fall stops a practice more surely than a poorly executed technique. 103 FALLS, 252 VIDEOS Forward and backward rolls, side falls, flat falls, landings after a throw: the repertoire is filmed fall by fall, from the slow gesture to real speed. SEVERAL ANGLES AND SLOW MOTION Front, side, top depending on the fall. Slow motion returns to the moment when the body places itself — the one that decides whether the landing will be good or not. AT THE DOJO, WITHOUT A NETWORK Videos download the first time you play a module. Once the module is loaded, everything stays readable with no connection, even in a poorly covered gym. YOUR PLAYLIST Gather the falls you are working on right now and find them again in one gesture. Useful for preparing a session, or to pick up an entire family. WHO IT IS FOR For the beginner approaching their first rolls, the experienced practitioner returning to the basics, the teacher who wants to show rather than explain. Whatever the discipline: judo, aikido, jujitsu, self-defense. WHY UKEMI Falling is a skill in its own right, shared across all grappling martial arts. Well received, a fall does not hurt; badly received, it injures. It is the only technique you use at every training session. NO SUBSCRIPTION 49 videos are free to watch, with no account to create. After that, a single payment unlocks the full version, once and for all. Start with the forward roll, and take it slowly.

Recently, I noticed my mom was getting into traditional Chinese health exercises, specifically Ba Duan Jin (Eight Pieces of Brocade). She'd watch videos on her phone, squinting at the small screen, trying to follow along with movements that looked nothing like what she was doing. She wanted to track her daily practice but kept forgetting which days she'd exercised. It broke my heart watching her struggle with something that should bring her joy and health. That's when I thought: "What if I could build something just for her?" So I learned to code. From scratch. Just to solve this one problem. With the help of AI , JIN was born – my very first app(MLP,NOT MVP), and honestly, probably my most meaningful project ever. I designed every pixel with my mom in mind: large, clear animations showing each of the 8 traditional movements, a simple daily check-in system she could actually use, and even a cute little growing tree that celebrates her consistency (because who doesn't love watching something grow?). But here's the thing – once I showed it to her friends at the community center, they all wanted it too. Turns out, there are a lot of people who want to practice Ba Duan Jin properly but struggle with complicated apps and tiny video tutorials. The result? An app that's actually designed for real people, not tech enthusiasts. I kept everything simple because complexity is the enemy of consistency. Each of the 8 movements has crystal-clear pixel-art animation, professional voice guidance in multiple languages, and detailed instructions about what each exercise does for your body. The daily check-in takes literally 2 seconds, and the calendar view shows your progress at a glance – perfect for people who want to see their dedication pay off. My favorite feature? The meditation tree that grows as you practice. My mom calls it "her little friend" and checks on it every morning. That's exactly the kind of gentle motivation I hoped for. What's included in the free version: • All 8 traditional Ba Duan Jin exercises with authentic guidance • Daily check-in system (no ads interrupting your zen moment) • Progress calendar showing your dedication journey • Growing meditation tree that celebrates consistency • Complete movement descriptions and health benefits • Multi-language support for the whole family • Clean, distraction-free design that respects your practice time For those who want the premium experience (one-time purchase): • Ad-free experience throughout • Adjustable animation speed for personalized learning • Advanced practice statistics and insights • Offline access for anywhere, anytime practice This is my first app, built with love for my mom and launched with hope that it helps your family too. If you're looking for a gentle, authentic way to bring traditional Chinese wellness into your daily routine, download JIN and start your journey today. Because health is the greatest gift we can give ourselves and the people we love.
