Crashes Phone

Tried using the App multiple times. App has a great purpose however something is wrong with the software. The app will crash my entire phone and make it restart. Tried the paid version and still have issues. I deleted and redownloaded multiple times. Still had issues . Donโ€™t recommend.

Doesnโ€™t accept all LE emails

Despite using my correct work email to sign up, the app believes the domain is misspelled and will not let me create an account. There is no option to troubleshoot that or send feedback.

Not working

For some reason it doesnโ€™t recognize my work email as being a LEO email and wonโ€™t let me create an account.

Great app

Great application. To gain the two stars they need to allow phone recording for those that pay to use the service. At the time itโ€™s only available if the entire agency signs up to use the app.

Great idea butโ€ฆ

This app was recommended to me by a buddy and I love the idea. Wonโ€™t let me create an account though. Any known glitches where it wonโ€™t send a confirmation link to your email?

FAQ

What does the 10-21 Police Phone app do?

This app facilitates communication between law enforcement and citizens. It allows officers to make calls that appear to be from local numbers, increasing the likelihood of them being answered. Citizens can also request callbacks or be directed to dispatch.

What are the key features of the app?

Key features include calling citizens from local numbers, receiving and responding to callback requests via push notifications, and directing citizens to dispatch. Professional subscribers can also set their outbound caller ID to "LAW ENFORCEMENT", view citizen caller IDs, send SMS follow-ups, and retain call records.

Is the app free to use?

The app offers a free tier with basic calling and callback request features. A professional subscription unlocks advanced features like custom caller ID, SMS follow-ups, and call record retention.

How does the app handle calls and caller ID?

Calls are made over a VoIP data connection, not using cellular minutes. The app uses local numbers for outbound calls, so if you call a citizen in a specific area code, they will see an incoming call from that same area code, making them more likely to answer.

What happens if a citizen calls back?

If a citizen calls back, they are prompted to press 1 for a callback request or 0 to reach a dispatcher. Callback requests are received as push notifications on the officer's phone, allowing them to initiate the call back at their convenience.
