Excellent again now ipadOS26 fixed
Had this app for a couple of years and is excellent fun
Needs a few key improvements
Generally I love this app, although there are a couple of improvements that would make it a five-star app!
First, the pros:
1. There are a large number of pieces you have available (ranges from 20 to 1400 so it is suitable for people of any age).
2. You can use your own images! This is fantastic!
3. You can choose to either have the pieces rotate, or orient them to the way they belong in the puzzle.
4. You can pop up a small preview of the puzzle or a larger background image that fits the scale of the puzzle.
5. You can zoom in pretty far if your puzzle has a large number of pieces.
Now, the cons from my point of view:
1. The small preview image should be available in larger sizes. My eyesight isn’t the best (which is why I enjoy puzzle apps because I can zoom in). I don’t like using the background preview even though it is larger.
2. There should be a button you can click to pop all the “unset” pieces from the puzzle area back into the side area. Sometimes (especially once the puzzle is nearly completed and there is little “free” space in the puzzle area) it is difficult to find the “unset” pieces if they are on part of the puzzle that is already completed.
3. On the side area where the unused puzzle pieces are kept, it would be nice to have both an “up” arrow and a “down” arrow so I can quickly move to the top or bottom. Otherwise I have to scroll and if I am doing a puzzle with a lot of pieces, this can take a while. This is mainly because sometimes I want to look for certain types of pieces and I like starting at the top and going to the bottom (or vice versa).

Pieces missing
Such a realistic jigsaw puzzle. I had one piece left to fill and the remaining piece had more knobs than sockets so didn’t fit plus it was completely different colour. It was like a piece from a different puzzle was put in. Some pieces got stuck on wrong angle but seemed to righten themselves after a day or two. In other words very buggy otherwise a challenging 1000 piece puzzle.

Very good
Best jigsaw puzzle app. I took some time to get used to the updated version, but it’s great once you’re used to it.
One or two bugs, eg on iPad the bottom row gets mixed up with the swipe up line which doesn’t fade out, so you have to assemble it higher up, and drop it into place. Also, why reverse the rotation to anti-clockwise? Very irritating….
Otherwise, great job.

Just ok.
I like the puzzles and the choices but not the way they interlock. Other puzzle games lock the correct puzzle in place once situated.
Puzzle Size
The size of the pieces in table are way to small, and there is no way to in large them… great puzzle subjects,

I love the selection of puzzles.
I do NOT love the rotation option. I have to tap it so many times to get it to work, not worth my time.

Not user friendly
I played this for years until today when it made me update. The update doesn’t work well at all. I click on rotate, choose a puzzle and it won’t allow rotation of pieces. The pieces are much smaller than I was used to and I don’t like it. I loved doing the puzzles with no preview at all so the picture was a surprise. This new version has none of those. I hate it!

New software
I was required to update magic puzzles. It no longer works for me. I guess I will have to delete it and go to a different app
Upgrade
I hate the upgrade. You have changed the whole game. I have done over 300 puzzles on your app. I have tried many different puzzle apps but I always deleted them because yours was my favorite. You have totally changed the entire format. It doesn’t even resemble the old site. Please make it like it was!

New puzzles
This is terrible, please bring back the old version or at least give us a choice of which we would like to use!
Older version better
A few things I don’t like about this newer version—pieces difficult to move, the puzzle takes up the whole screen so no place to put pieces except into puzzle so you can’t put aside pieces with eyes, etc., doesn’t change to clear image at end of puzzle, I lost all my old favorite puzzle collections.

Why is the puzzle solve area smaller than the screen?
Loved the puzzle selection. Hated the screen layout; no option for landscape mode, sections of completed puzzle need to be fully or partially off the screen. Uninstalled within hours.
Review
Like the puzzles, but hate the updated version. Older version much mire user friendly. Barely touch pieces to move and it scrolls too fast. Also, majority of time very difficult to pick up a piece to use. Multiple attempts needed to pick up a piece to use. Theres no longer a border to set a few pieces aside. Timer is gone. Menu in previous update much easier to use. Epic fail as an update.

My son found this for me, and it has been a God-Send for me! I’m bedridden, and the other one thing is that I read my Bible! I just wanted to say thanks so very much for providing this information for me….If you need anything to do during the day look into the puzzles, they have help me. Please continue to help us out here…..

Poor design beautiful pictures
Really loved the version before this. While the pictures are beautiful there is no working space to do the puzzle. I finally had to move the connected pieces off the screen. Loose puzzle pieces ended up under the completed sections. Will be deleting this puzzle app.
What Have You Done?
It appears you have taken an app that was at least amusing and made it ugly, useless, and boring. I’ve used this app for many years, but I’m outta here.
Trying to update…
Am trying to update Jigsawscapes and this stupid puzzle game keeps popping up -this app has a horrid selection-where is the correct update????
Awful!
Selected rotate, no rotate. Can’t get the tray to stop when I want it to, couldn’t get the pieces to connect. Did not like the whole experience!
