I don’t want to go to the Olympics...
I put in a departure and destination city, specify a time... and the app gives me a popup message about which stations to reserve Pyeongchang tickets at before erasing the info I just put in. Totally non-functional app.
Failure to launch
Complete failure. It doesn’t work, at all. Find a printer and a ticket kiosk.
Korail Fail
Absolutely frustrating to use. You would think they asked some non-Koreans to help test the app, right? Especially with the Olympics next week... Unintuitive UI, random errors, slow to respond to touches, inputs not saved... Don’t bother with this, use the crappy but workable website instead.
Just take the English back from us
Frankly I think 1 star is too much — if I could, I wold gave this app 0 stars, simply because you can’t achieve the very thing this app is meant to do.
So it’s nice that this app finally gets “native” English support instead of redirecting the user to their website, but here’s an issue — how in the world have you decided to make entirely different app rather instead of localizing the already-working Korean version? I mean the entirely different app of which UX is terrible, and worst of all, too buggy that I can’t book a ticket?
Before I could use my humble Korean skill to book a ticket — it surely took some time, and sometimes some mistakes, but I could get the tickets for sure. Now it seems like I can’t do that simple thing without changing everything in my phone into Korean.
Seriously?

Buggy
I am a Korean but I like to set my iPhone to English. This app, upon launching, recognizes that my phone’s language is set to English and offers to move to English site. The the app quits out. Again and again. After about 5 tries, the app is finally launched. It happens every single time! Do they even do cursory testing before releasing the app?

terrible.
the most terrible app in the world.
Buggy & Unintuitive
App has clumsy, confusing UI, with several icons resembling eachother. No language options available other than Korean, despite the obvious usefulness to travelers inside Korea. Unfortunately the website is equally unhelpful, requiring an outdated browser and navigating a labyrinthine nest of menus.

Languages
App description says available in English. NOT!! Only Hangul. Disappointing for guests wanting to travel throughout Korea on the KTX.
English version
I really like this app but please have English option on it so it is easier for non Koreans to use too..
