  • Not making enough money? Make the free app worse!

I’ve been using Worktime since 2017, and since then, the design has only gotten uglier and the functionality worse. Final straw for me is coming back after two semesters off work to focus on school, and I can’t even set an alarm for my shifts now without paying money; something that used to be a free feature.

I get it, I get it, apps want to be profitable, you want to give incentive to spend a little money on it. But taking away the simplest of previously-free features behind a paywall? Utterly aggravating. And for so simple an app, a SUBSCRIPTION? Is anybody really buying that?

All I downloaded it for was a convenient way to keep my schedule and alarms together for work. Guess I’ll just migrate to the calendar app. 🤷

  • Love!

I have loved this app for years and still swear by it for the easiest way to track your shifts if you work irregular schedules. My only beef is that I’ve been premium for a while and they updated the cost, I still get the old price (which is AWESOME) but they make me “restore purchase” every time I use it, multiple times. It’s annoying tbh but everything else about this app is great! Convenient, sleek, easy to send to other calendars & still edit, calculating pay and breaks etc. is a breeze.

  • Really Helpful

My husband made a good point saying I could just write down my shifts on the calendar and calculate my hours myself but I genuinely like being able to open my phone and see my work week at a glance. I have it color coded and organized to fit my style and it’s helpful to get reminders of shifts especially if I forget. Having two jobs has been a lot on my schedule but I feel like I have a better grasp on my time with this app. I paid $20 for 6 months which for me was going to be a testing period but I would gladly pay for a years worth of this app.

  • Amazing

I actually really like this app. I was looking for a good calendar to be able to put in all my shifts and keep track of hours. I also love the widget that comes with it for iPhone. Definitely recommend for students that have like part time jobs. It's a great tool to keep track of everything.
  • Update disappointing

I was loving this app prior to the most recent update. I had even paid the $10 for the year subscription and was able to enjoy features such as calculating hours, adding multiple jobs and works schedules. Now, even though my subscription doesn’t expire until next year when I try to do these things it sends me to the upgrade to pro page ($4/month or $50 for the year) there’s no way to get around this even though my Apple subscriptions notes my $10 subscription doesn’t expire to 2021. As much as I’ve enjoyed the app I cannot justify paying $50.

  • Great for Me

I'll be up front: I only use this to keep track of my work schedule. I don't use any of the earning trackers or special features.

With that being said, the user-friendliness and functionality for my needs are amazing. Definitely worth the price.

My job schedule is all over the place - I'll work a set of hours one day and a different set the next. Example: 6-1, 7-3, 6-4, 9-12, etc.
When I need to input next week's shifts, this app lists all of the previous hour groups so I can simply select one instead of entering each start/end time separately. It saves me the hassle of typing it all out.

Very quick. Very easy. Very clean.

  • I really use to love this app

I really, REALLY did use to love this app! I was so happy when I found it! I had two jobs at the time, so this was the PERFECT solution for being able to pull up my schedules! I didn’t even mind paying the $1-2 a month to get the pro features whenever I could afford it. Now that I’ve been promoted, I decided it was time to buy the year subscription.. but it went up by SO MUCH! $4 for a WEEK? $50 for a year?! I can’t afford that. Not even the $9 per month. It really saddens me because I really do love this app, but I just can’t bring myself to spend so much with so many any bills coming in.

  • It’s mehhh

This app is ok, nothing special about it tho. Does what any calendar would and the price they want to charge for the pro version is absolutely ridiculous!! I will admit I paid the $10 for the pro version last year and even that was steep for the lack of features it provided. To up that yearly cost to $50 is absolute highway robbery. I will use the free version for now but I am actively looking for a new calendar application to replace this one as I refuse to support an application that is absolutely outrageous in price. In a nutshell my opinion is its NOT WORTH IT to get pro and free version really isn’t that great!

  • Amazing app, very high price

I absolutely LOVE this app and it has and does everything that I need it to do (and more!). However, it costs an arm and a leg. Almost $4 for a weekly subscription and a yearly subscription is about $50. I have no problem buying apps, but I’ve never bought a good and functional app for more than $25. I have other apps that have yearly subscriptions and $50 is quite hefty to add on top of that.

    TL;DR
Great app that does everything you probably want and need, but expect to spend between $4/weekly all the way up to $50/yearly.

  • Very helpful

I am a young adult who just got my first job and this app helps me keep track of when I next work. One little gripe is it can be a little annoying at times to maneuver around the app. Sometimes I have trouble putting in my hours then getting back to the main calendar view. Most of the time in this situation I just force close the app then reopen to get back to the main view. I’m sure there is just something I’m missing and could learn. Overall this app is very helpful.
