I like the new look! It seems to be working a lot more stable than the old version but sometimes when I pause the live stream it will not restart and I have to open and close the app again…

I just downloaded this app because I got tired of my phone cutting out in so-called dead zones. It’s so easy now to simply touch the app & listen to my favorite shows with no interruptions.
NPR & NC
WUNC gives me the best of public radio, national and local. I can always count on WUNC for unbiased reporting, a rare experience these days! Thank you WUNC & NPR!
ATE MY BATTERY AND DATA
I left this app in background. My battery was fully charged and dead 12 hours later, hadn’t been used at all. This app in background ate it up. Also ate my entire gig of data for the month in less than three days.
Flawless New App
Great updates. Reliable. Easy to navigate. Bravo!
Crashes too often
App crashes too often. And when I transition from Wi-Fi to cellular it starts over and I have to listen to the sponsorship ad again, missing content.
Not working
This refuses to play most of the time. I have deleted it and reinstalled three times and have updated my phone. Still not working.
New format
I don’t like the new sign on format. My routine is to turn on WUNC as soon as I wake up! Having the three large banners to switch on radio was so convenient without my glasses…bring the back. Not the tiny banner at the bottom. Otherwise, love public radio.
LOVE the station, detest the APP
While I love being able to get WUNC anywhere, how it works under the hood is the worst of all the streaming apps I have.
I walk out of my house to walk the dog and the moment I walk out of WiFi range it drops and a few second later …. the ads start! I already listen to those in the house!!!!
I get a phone call and I answer. When it’s over, WUNC doesn’t start up like ALL other apps do.
I would have preferred that the money spent to spiff up the look of the app would have been spent to spiff up the streaming part instead.
PLEASE, fix the streaming.

I love WUNC! This app is awesome! I love listening to WUNC because it gives me the latest local, national, and world news. I listen to it all the time!
