Not accurate whatsoever

I’ve been getting more into fitness lately, and have been wearing my Bellabeat on my shirt or pants every day. When I try to sync it, it takes forever and I’m tapping it for like 5 minutes trying to get it to connect. Once it connects, I see my daily activity and it’s not accurate at all. 1.5 hours of nonstop pickleball and the app says I had 10 min of exercise that day.. with only a few hundred steps taken. I’ve been moving into a new house, and walking back and forth for weeks (I literally have not sat down more than 3 times in my new place) and still barely any steps are being tracked. For the price of this device it’s not worth it. I have the necklace/clip on leaf.. which I was so excited about at first.. but now I’m very disappointed. I hope the other products they make work better. 😔

Can’t even open the app due to glitching!!

I’ve been trying to change my login information for the app “P.D.”. Apparently I need to sign in to this app “bellabeat” in order to access that information. I’ve been trying to do this, but have been unsuccessful. As soon as I go to the settings option in bellabeat and click on the section for personal info. (where it allows you to change things like height), the app glitches and closes. I’m not sure how to proceed from here. Please fix this!!

Beautiful product, clunky app

I love the way the product looks. I was never a fan of being super connected to a watch and getting too many notifications every hour, but I did want to track my activity. I would imagine that most people who buy this product feel similarly about not being glued to tech. However, the app wants you to be invested in it all the time to get your “wellness” score. In addition, the data obtained from the app doesn’t Correctly sync to apple health or other apps. It literally only syncs the step count even though it can track the mileage. I’m Also not a fan of having to manually sync the app with my leaf. If the Leaf is supposed to fit seamlessly into my wardrobe I want the app to also be as seamless in my life. Hopefully upgrading the tech is a high priority item. Until it improves, I recommend this product to others with a “well, it works okay…”

Overpriced for what it tracks

the tracker is not accurate. It doesn’t track sleep accurately. (I suspected it & used another device)
It doesn’t track my activity on rowing machine …
It’s just a very expensive step counter

Thinks I have Ivy when I have Leaf

Silly app only gives me the option to pair/sync Ivy. Which is not the device I have.

To set up your Leaf, please go to Settings - Add a device - Leaf and follow the steps for pairing. Terrible App

I have had my device for over a year and have had to delete and reinstall several times
It says the battery is flat, then delete app and it’s 100%
I have had 3 devices now as they keep failing and i get a new one
Since latest install it’s now saying it can’t find my device even though it’s right next to it and on charge
I go to sync the day and it can’t find or it does and then loads no steps at all
It’s also annoying that the button to manually enter sleep looks like it’s inactive as it’s greyed out
Overall bad app experience and only stick with it as it’s good for sensitive skin and can’t wear an apple watch

Spammy notifications

Had to turn off all notifications as I couldn’t find a way to limit them to only things I wanted to be alerted to. It was literally pushing out a notification every minute. I wish I could add a photo to this review to show just how annoying it was being, literally so many alerts that you learn to ignore them all. Not even close to motivating, just infuriating.

Can’t actually use my feee 6 month subscription for coach

Every time I try to sign up for the 6 month free subscription it says ‘oops something went wrong, try again’. I couldn’t even sign into the app at first, it kept saying my details were wrong. I think I’m going to have to return this

Battery life is about 3 months, no option to pair leaf version

I’ve had my leaf for probably a year. The app will say that the battery is charged but when nothing is tracking and you change the battery, which in itself is difficult to change due to the very very tiny screw sizes, you find that it was the battery that is dead even though the app said it wasn’t.

And to sync the leaf to the app you need to double tap the leaf. It goes through periods that it won’t respond to sync, and that’s when you think the battery is dead also, when it’s not. It really could be a great app but there’s so many little issues that it’s annoying.

Update: I got a response from Bellabeat that their technical team can tell the battery level if I want to know.

They are based in France and it takes a day for the response. How about the app just showing the correct level?

Stinking syncing

Bought new. Had issues ever since. It’s frustratingly slow to sync & that’s if & when it decides to sync. Expensive & useless to say the least. Exhausted all avenues of “help”prior to posting my review via Bellabeat.
