  • Totally Gnarly

Is what would be agreed upon in the van on Fast Times at Ridgemont High! This app cooks! I had to chime in when I read someone saying this is better than Filtatron though. Kind of two different entities all together. Filtatron is EASY and this is ADVANCED.

You can get great sound from both. This, though, lets you take numerous great (or crummy) sounds, put a technician audibly disassembling, rearranging, dissecting, and generally squeezing each and every drop OF possible ear candy out of it whereas Filtatron does well, what Filtatron does, quite neatly and looking great on the little screen you now tap!

I honor those who make audio apps like this that are just mind blowing and yet have a simple GUI. I mean who doesn't love beautiful metallic, shadowed, shiny knobs but I am buying for the SOUND it makes. I wish all app designers would make a version that has BASIC GRAPHICS!! like Korg's Gadget - it sounds fantastic but runs slower on IPAD AIR... Tangent. Sorry. This is a great app just like all this dev's - buy it!

  • Outstanding

This is the closest thing yet to the art music style "musique concrete" where found sounds used to be manipulated into new and extraordinary ones. Pierre Henry would be proud. Great fun. I'm currently recording practically everything just to hear what this little wonder will produce.
  • The best kind of crazy

No previous knowledge of audio needed to get started making odd stuff. Just record something and start tweaking. Great fun!
  • Soundscapes to get lost in

I'm enjoying this app. I don't think there's anything else like it. I'm hooked.
  • Great for soundscapes

If you like experimenting, and creating soundscapes you won't be disappointed with this app. Samples can be imported easily, mangled and effected via an easy to use UI.

I have the devs other app Soundscaper and though similar, find this one easier to use.

Not everyone's cup of tea, but I love this app - hours of fun!

  • Pretty good actually

This app is pretty for developing weird sounds. Was expecting a looper and sound cleanup app with real time audio fx but it's really of a sound recorder app with trimming and delay/Bitcrush. Im super glad is universal but I would have preferred a port of the other apps as they look more essential for sound processing such as audio master etc. Altispace is amazing tho. Check it out

  • YES YES YES YES

Disclaimer: I am still learning this app. Just embrace the app's philosophy and it will all make sense. This is a great tool for creating great audio environments. I have wanted this type of tool for a while now. I am looking forward to this app growing via future versions. If you enjoy CREATING cool textures and ambience this is the app. If you are wondering if you should get this app, DO IT.

  • Inspiring

Igor has created another inspiring tool for creating sonic textures from found sounds. It's like having the Radiophonic Workshop in your pocket. Even the most mundane sounds can become amazing evolving sonic soundscapes when run through the highly tweekable Scaper engine. If you like exploring and creating new experimental sounds then this is a must have tool.

  • Not working on my 6s

Upon opening the app I get an error message saying "Current hardware sample rate 48000Hz is not supported. I can not record to the internal mic. Hoping for a quick fix. I don't enjoy throwing $5.99 away
  • Igor does it again!

Another awesome app! If you're into exploring the creative side of soundscape creation, this is a must have! Get it!
