A David Lynch inspired video game gem....
Ok, so maybe not directly. But if you enjoyed Lost Highway and Twin Peaks and kept watching despite not always knowing what was going on you’ll love Sanitarium. Actually, that could even be said of Lost as well. Anyway,that kind of sets up the premise that you won’t always understand if it’s reality or a dream world but that makes it pretty fun to play as well. And like the other reviewer said it’s a pretty intense mind-bender. Not gory at all but some great psychological chapters that will keep you interested even as you make some loose connections with what a certain chapter entails. It’s nice to see a classic suspenseful point and click such as this one. Now if they can just port Phantasmagoria so I don’t have to find all my disks to play it again. :)Show lessHusker Zach

very 1990's, horrible control,has a clunky feel to it,but a lot of work has gone into this,not sure why it's been reviewed quite so highly,so dated but funny,couldn't wait to complete and delete! you have to use a walkthrough as its very hard to work out what's required as graphics are not great,worth playing it's weird and programmers on 90's drugs tbh.Show lessyellow//dog

Loved the game and the story. Was a good long game and would say great value for money. The reason for the 4 stars is that the controls can be quite frustrating.Babyoates

Loved playing this game. Thanks for making a port for this title so people like me ( new to the point and click adventure fan club) can experience all these amazing games from the 90's! Wish they made more games like this nowadays! 😜😍
Also want to note that price is totally worth it, game is awesome and good length which is something I look for in a game. I hate paying for short games and thankfully this game gives hours of point and click puzzle solving fun!!!!Show lessLolo87kiddo

One of my favorite titles of Gamings' second generation (after Atari and text adventures). Remember my jaw dropping at the "SOA graphics and playability".

RETRO FUN for a mere 2.99 BARGAIN
I got this game way back on an old PC I brought as a free Demo, I loved it till only a month later crashed when the PC crashed and when recovered was missing all the best Demo's ever! Cannot believe I got this amazing game with better than old school PC mouse controls for a ridiculous 2.99!! The best bit is that it's not dated at all! In fact it's a case of they don't make them like they used to. The mystery and puzzles are not always predictable and it takes thinking outside of the box to pass the chapters.
