SNOMED CT Vision Anywhere now uses native SNOMED CT for data entry instead of Read codes. Searching for codes is more accurate and efficient, as the context types display. Templates and Calculators As part of Vision Anywhere v3.3 we are introducing the framework for using clinical calculators and data entry templates. Initially the following clinical calculators are available to download, with more to be made available shortly: - BMI - Diabetes Risk - DOSE Index Prescribing with Notes There are two new options within the Prescribe screen: 'Notes for patient' and 'Notes for dispenser' Failed Encounter Writeback Encounters that fail to be written back due to service availability or other service issues are now added to the automatic retry queue. The encounter for retry displays on the Home page and can be viewed and deleted from here if required.

  • Poor.

    Archaic. Slow. Limited. Seems they don't realise what clinicians need in a system.
  • If this is the future....

    We've been putting off using Vision Anywhere due to poor feedback and anecdotal murmurings from other users.
    Finally got round to setting it up on 2 iPads today.

    What a disappointment! 30 second pauses moving between screens, data entry slow and sluggish, buggy and crashes regularly.

    A reinstall and some advice from the developers have improved things, keen to take my feedback so hopefully will see speed improvements soon - there are some under the bonnet reasons for some of the delays.

    Updated review to reflect positive interaction with development. Hope to see improvements soon as as we still feel this isn't quite ready for general use at our Practice yet.

    Hope to test on iPhones soon to seen if there is a performance difference.

  • Promising start but needs tweaking

    Finally Vision has entered the 21st century with a modern look. Prescribing acutes is really good and possibly better than on V3. Unfortunately can't really use the app on a daily basis as takes far too long to load patient data, and on my older iPad 4th generation the whole app is sluggish. Main drawback is not being able to see booked appointment for anyone other than yourself, hence you would have to manually load in the days visits if they are not listed under yourself. A good start but needs more work.
