Not enough information about the gps network used (GPS (USA Navstar), GLONASS (Russia), QZSS (Japan), BeiDou/COMPASS (China), Galileo (European Union))

After a few days of use, this APP seems to be providing EXACTLY what I was looking for, including “where the heck am I”🤷🏻♂️🤡 and how many satellites are being used at any given point to substantiate that.

Doesn't seem to be seeing GPS with iOS 17.0.1
Don't know what's up with this. I'm guessing that something might have broken with the new OS major version. The checklist of location sources says "?" for GPS and there's no GPS sat bargraph bars displayed.
Also, I tried to use the in app email to reach the developer, but the app says I don't have an email configured for this app and I'm not sure how to do that. I don't see the app enumerated in iOS's "Settings". FWIW, I use Gmail.
If/when this problem is resolved for me, I will most likely rate this app five stars.

Excellent tool for troubleshooting and speed measurement
I successfully used this app to confirm the quality of the reception of satellite data. Months later I find myself in Japan on the Shinkansen “bullet” train wondering how fast we are traveling. This app provided the answer. In case you are wondering, we were traveling about ~275 km/hr!

Very useful app. I really like that it shows your Lat & Lon!! I’m not sure why but it was the only GPS app that worked on the plane! It was nice to see the ground speed and altitude
Update - for some reason it no longer works?? I know my GPS is still working because all my apps that rely on it still work perfectly but according to this app it’s not receiving a signal from any satellites! It worked good for years and it just quit . Doesn’t display anything. Tried all the usual things . Restarted my phone checked for updates nothing helped.

Garmin GLO - The Missing App (and more)
I've long been a fan of Garmin devices but was frustrated by the "just trust it's working" nature of the Garmin GLO 2 bluetooth GPS receiver. Garmin offers no status application to confirm device operation and basic navigation parameters. All you get is single LED on the device.
This app is FANTASTIC. It works well with the GLO 2 and provides the information that adds confidence to the device.
It's also great for built-in GPS, as it provides all critical navigation information. Most of the time, I just want to know the coordinates and altitude. All of this information is front and center in this app. The app makes it simple to copy and paste coordinates. It doesn't require a login or internet connectivity - a great weakness of many "full featured" gps/navigation apps. Simplicity is a huge benefit of this app.
This app is worth every penny.

Perfect
With the recent ending of CDMA as a time source for NTP servers we had to purchase new units that sourced time via GPS. Running into signal issues this app helped me locate a area where GPS signal was attainable. It’s a simple app but did everything I needed perfectly.

This app works with external GPS units as well as the built in GPS chipset. Great way of checking accuracy and GPS signal.
Impressive GPS
Inside my house 15 feet away from the window this shows I pick up 4 + Satellites. It’s nice to know whatever map app I use I can tell I’m getting a correct reading (location). I recommend this app.
