Child refused to “stop playing math” to watch a video
There’s no confusion in the child’s mind as to whether they are doing something educational, not if they’re phrasing it as “playing math.” For reference, this is a child who fought me a year and a half ago when we started Time4mathfacts/Reflex, another math fact practice game. We’ll see if the fascination holds long enough to finish mastering multiplying and dividing 6-9 (9 without finger tricks).
