Using desktop version
I have been bad at math ever since middle school. I would constantly fail and retake pre-algebra all throughout middle school and high school. Its not until now that im in college that I finally proved myself to do better at math. Now that im in Calculus, I often times forget how to factor large numbers so I rely on the desktop version of this app. OMG has it helped me throughout college algebra and Calculus. Thank you for being there for me and helping me pass my College algebra class. At the moment I am in Calculus and hopefully I pass this class too. But I want to say if the desktop version of mathpapa is awesome, then im confident that the app version will be good too. Wish me luck on passing Calculus this semester :).Show lessKyphi3

I am currently a seventh grader and have loved this app, which has helped me tremendously in algebra. But today I was doing math homework, and I checked one of the problems, which turned out to be wrong. I went to click ‘show work’ so that I could figure out what I did wrong, but I noticed that instead of ‘show work’ the button said something about needing a subscription. Of course, I checked it out to see if I wanted to sign up, but $10 a month for a calculator? Seriously? I would be willing to pay 1 or 2 dollars, but 10? Make your prices more kid friendly, and you’ll have a hit. Everyone can afford a couple dollars out of their allowance, but 10? My whole weekly allowance is $10! And I’m not gonna spend it on a calculator! I’m disappointed and will be searching for another app. I miss the old MathPapa. Enjoying life on your private island? You have two less coconuts cause I’m not paying ten bucks for a stupid calculator.Show less*cats*aj*youtube*mustar*

I signed up for premium status to get the unlimited solving steps. I decided to cancel because the steps shown do not match the method my daughter is learning at school. There’s no button to suspend or cancel your membership. There’s no account information button. There’s also no account password restore links either. The app functions like it should for math though. I’ll update if I can cancel my subscription without having to contact Apple.Show lessNoChance37
Please bring back adds instead of premium
I don’t mind an add every once and a while, but I’m not paying $9.99 a month for a membership if I just need a step-by-step on my algebra homework. The step by step is what got me to use this app in the first place and I’m tired of getting that pop up and having to go to a website. Incredible!
If not for this app I would have failed my first assignment in College Algebra this evening due to a lack of understanding equation breakdowns. This app breaks down equations to where it’s way easier to understand than the given textbook. Absolute lifesaver! I shouldn’t need to search if there’s a solution to this issue if there’s no answer...
When putting in exponents, only one number or variable can go up there, such as 3^4 or 3^x, but not an expression like 3^x-1, which is necessary for solving geometric sequences algebraically to find if a given number is a term of the sequence. Instead it will put input as 3^x then subtracted by 1. I went on the FAQ support for MathPapa but found nothing on this issue. Great app for Algebraic calculations. Not a good app for expressions that require exponents as expressions or for solving certain sequences.Show lessVlad W.

Step by step costs money
Really? You guys were known for free step by step help but you decided to be a bitc* and make it cost money like most of the other alegbra calculators. No use of installing this just go use the cheap or free algebra calculators.Therrikudh Masss

I had to do my algebra homework before 9pm it was 8:25pm. I googled the answer to the equation and MathsPapa came up. I used the google search calculator and then downloaded the app because I was so amazed. It shows you the equation then the answer and a choice to see how it was worked out. I recommend you download this app if you struggle or need extra support with algebra.Show lessWooly ahat
