Very very overpriced
I tried to clean one mattress and one mattress protector. From the app photos, these items looks to be within the services they offer. The pickup driver could only speak German but seemed a bit confused when picking the things up, so I gave the helpline a call to confirm everything is ok. It turns out despite photos of a mattress on their app and website, they don’t usually clean mattresses. but the customer service promised they will find out what they can do and let me know.
There were no contact after that.
Next thing I know, the delivery man showed up to return the items, and I was given a bill of ~170 Euros. This was more than twice the amount I agreed to, and I was not asked for consent before they billed me.

I cannot believe what just happened. Jonny Fresh is trying to bill me 157€ (!!!) instead of the expected 33€. Even though I submitted two 8kg packs of clothes that I explicitly wanted to have washed in a washer and dryer as per usual and I had only a few items (3 pants, one scarf, one jacket) that needed to be dry cleaned. They somehow took all weekend and half the Monday to go through all my clothes and AGAINST MY WILL put 20 (!!!) more clothes into dry cleaning and try to bill me for it! This is insanity. They also tried to bill me for 8 scarves. I don’t even have that many scarves in my entire household! They are clearly relying on a scam business model.
Previously, I used Zipjet and they never did this. Just did the cleaning as instructed and that’s it. The reason why I even migrated to Jonnyfresh was bc Zipjet discontinued their operations and sent their customers to Jonnyfresh. I understand if the amount I need to pay goes up by 20-30€ but an increase of 100€?? For things I didn’t even send??? That’s unacceptable. I will have to spend my time and energy on disputing this instead of just paying for a normal service as I used to.
