Doesn’t work the way it is supposed to
I tried this app to replace the iPhone dictation feature in writing notes on books in Google docs. I got it because I wanted something that used AI to better understand what I was saying given the context of what I was talking about. For example, if I am dictating notes about a book on Ukraine, it should recognize what I am talking about when I say “Lviv.” This app doesn’t seem to do that.
I also wanted an app I could train to recognize particularly difficult words I’d use often, such as people’s names. This app is supposed to do that but I couldn’t get it to work. It also didn’t seem to recognize some of the voice commands it’s supposed to.

Disappointing
The app description and benefits sound so promising. However, I was unable to link to my Dropbox account to synchronise (‘unknown error’) or import .docx documents across three different devices. Waste of precious hours trying to get this to work.
Good but a simple improvement could make it much better for me
I like the app and the more I use it the better it gets. BUT when using square brackets, [ ], can the form field navigator (up x down thing) be moved from the bottom right of the screen where new text gets written. What a schoolboy error that is.
That is my major gripe with the app. Going forwards, it would be nice to have OneDrive integration for opening / saving documents
Thanks, Dan

Dropbox Synch broken
Update—still not fixed after 5 months.
One would think they’d have issued a fix by now.
They still advertise it as a feature in their sales literature.

_________
I really like this App, but Dropbox Synch stopped working with the last release, having worked faultlessly hitherto. When I logged a Support Ticket they asked me for additional info: the usual stuff like OS version, and a screenshot of the error message, but I haven’t heard from them since, despite 2 chasers. My subscription is due for renewal in about a week. I’ll renew, nonetheless, as I’ve used Dragon products for around 25 years, with all the ups and downs. The App isn’t cheap, and it would be nice if it worked properly. Integration and synching with MS OneDrive for Business would be a great feature to implement too. Ian

App no longer works
I am unable to connect to Dropbox. I am unable to import documents. All the online support numbers for Dragon are actually disconnected and you can’t talk to anyone or get support for this malfunctioning app.
Excellent on desktop, terrible on mobile, let down by Shop
On a desktop, for professional use, Dragon is head and shoulders above, almost any other kind of speech recognition for its speed, and accuracy, alone, let alone the unmatchable integration with editing, application, control, and the ability to create custom libraries of words.
Sadly, the mobile version is nothing like as accurate, Fast, or powerful. Unless you are in a perfectly acoustically quite environment, it really struggles, and switching between the phone, microphones and earbuds causes other problems.
Both desktop and mobile are badly let down bye an absolutely awful shopping experience thanks to an outdated non-integrated, clunky and error ridden
Implementation by Digital River/nuance. If you are expecting a “click to buy and go” experience, you are going to be really disappointed as there are multiple manual steps involving email, data, input, and a ferociously complicated miss match between the passwords for the application, the password for the American store, the password for the UK store, the password for the support system, and the passwords for the Apple app. It’s a complete joke.
(The terrible punctuation and errors in this review are all caused by apples, own voice recognition joke)

BAD THINGS HAVE HAPPENED TO THIS COMPANY
I used Dragon about four years ago and loved it. I dictated hours of successful material and got very comfortable with the app. Unfortunately, I had to cancel my subscription because it was too expensive at the time. Recently, I decided to resubscribe and BAD THINGS HAVE HAPPENED TO THIS COMPANY. I have jumped through days of hoops and sketchy holds to get help with an absolutely ridiculous technical glitch preventing me from registering my license and actually using the app. Intra-departmental communication is abysmal, and there are a lot of artificially padded timelines that do nothing but make it seem as though Nuance is doing something when in fact they are kicking the ball down the road hoping you’ll go away. Simplify the process and allow subscriptions through the app for all users, even returning ones who originally subscribed online.
In short. I recommend you choose one of the clunkier, cheaper apps or just take your chances with Siri. Nuance/Dragon support is incompetent in every way.

Terrible - useless
This product is not only terrible but useless, got the subscription to help me with transcribing ny meetings with clients, and very quickly figured out that the accuracy of transcription is below 30%. Compared to transcription feature on Microsoft teams this is zero value. Everytime I placed my iPhone 13 pro in a close location to the source of sound and made sure quality of sound is perfect, but simply it does not work. DON’t WASTE ANY MONEY ON IT. Gave it a chance and it badly failed!!!!!

Unusable program
I signed up for an account on my desktop as per the instructions and then downloaded the app to sign in. It says my password is incorrect. I double checked my login for my Dragon account and the password was correct. I tried 5 more times. Then tried to Reset Password and it says if an account exists it will send me a link to reset. No email ever shows up to reset the password. Super frustrating and pointless app! Cannot use it at all.

Not for single users
I signed up for Dragon Anywhere and couldn’t figure out how to use it on my Mac. It seems to be only for my mobile, which is not “anywhere”. This was after struggling with their convoluted sign up process. When I finally gave up it couldn’t figure out how to cancel my subscription. Very frustrating but mostly dissappointing.
