App needs a lot of work
This app needs a lot of work. Issues include the fact it loses the name you give each speaker when you change it from the default. Second is that it cannot automatically turn the speakers on. This means the speakers have to manually be turned on so you canโt install them high up as you need to get to the speaker power button each time. Very annoying. Fixing these two issues would be a giant step forward.

Internet issue
Wonโt allow me to connect to 5G. This is the only supported network for me now. So I canโt access the app software to turn the volume up. Disappointing.

Very intermittent. Changed the names of speakers and it just reverts back to original name. Needs an update and re-haul.
After a couple of years...
This connected easily with the Bauhn SoundMax 3 but it's annoying in that some features in the hardware manual are not available. An important one for me is the timer functions. Fortunately there is a competing app which does have a timer. Another problem is that it's not intuitive and there is very limited in app help. I can't figure out how to set a favourite Tunein radio station. Needs more work developer.

App does not work
I don't know what is wrong with this app. It just loops continuously, searching for devices. I cannot get it to work.
What's happened to the search?
Absolutely love our soundmax system. A few minor problems: one of the plug in adapters wasn't working. Was replaced relatively easily. And joining two together for bigger areas proves to be impossible but... what has happened to the search????? It was such a comprehensive library but it has just disappeared ???

Works great
The automatic pairing to wifi network didn't work but the manual pairing was easy. Once set up, single play and pairing works fine. - I have max 3, max5 and sound bar - and no issues with single playing or multiple play. The sound is pretty good - for the price you really can't complain. Just return products and buy expensive stuff. Well done Bauhn and Aldi.
