MULTI-ROOM DOESN'T WORK
Single purpose for buying two speaker was to use with multi-room, but have never been able to get them to pair together successful. Always get the message "multi-room timed out, please refresh system". Have had hardware replaced once already, but still doesn't work. Support from Tempo was average - telling me to try the alternative way of setting up the devices, but no fix for the multi-room issue. It's obviously a software problem - will this be fixed?????

Does not function as advertised
This app does not offer the functionality advertised in its paired products user guides. The support in Australia seems to be minimal with tempo.org telephones not being answered and emails yet to be answered. Would be greatly appreciated if one could receive some proper feedback and support...

Do not even bother using this app as it does not support Australian radio stations such as Triple M, Fox FM or Nova to name a few. And support from Tempo (Aust) ????.
Such a shame!
The audio quality of the sound max 5 is simply fantastic! HOWEVER, the software required to run these on wifi is incredibly poor, poorly translated, poorly laid out, everything about the software is terrible, ohh and did I mention how bad this software is. Not to mention Pandora is missing. Sadly I too will be returning this great sounding/looking speaker purely due to the software.

Major Fail
Badly designed app that doesn't allow much changes to settings or connections to multiple music players (only 3 in total). When connected to soundmax 3, it is no more than an average Bluetooth enabled speaker. I returned the hardware and will delete the app now.
