Reviews of Bandmate Chromatic Tuner

  • Review (Also includes my teacher’s thoughts)

So I thought that this app is great (I’m also writing this on behalf of my teacher) but there is a thing that my teacher said is missing. All that she was upset was this not being on other phone brands except for Apple, because she couldn’t find it anywhere else except on the IPhone. Other than that I loved it! It helped me so much on the clarinet.
  • Missing ONE feature

This app is great, I used it a lot when I was learning all the different brass instruments (especially French horn) since it shows the notes on the staff. The only feature it’s missing is the ability to switch the staff in which it’s displayed. Currently working on college audition music for Trombone and it’s all in tenor clef, which isn’t an option. It would be cool to change the clef it displays. Sometimes French Horn is written in bass clef, Trombone in tenor clef, so on and so forth. Would be a cool feature. Everything else is great!
  • This app is AMAZING for beginners!

I started playing French horn in middle school. Now I have been playing it for 3 years and have been successful! This app is definitely been a help throughout my journey as a musician. Being able to know what note and partial I was playing on was SO beneficial and created building blocks as a beginner. I still use it today when I practice new music, it’s always been a huge help!!

I recommend this app to beginners and anyone in general that is wanting to improve! It never lets you down ❤️❤️
