Description of PA EMS Protocols

If you are an Emergency Medical Responder, EMT, AEMT, Paramedic, Critical Care Paramedic, Nurse, student, or other medical professional in Pennsylvania looking for an app with the latest protocols and hospital data, iHarig's protocol app is the app for you! This application hosts the fastest updates, works on all platforms, and features searching, sharing, hospital filtering by capability, and important state/regional information beyond just displaying protocols. With fast (and sharable) updates to content, resources like EMS information bulletins, regional protocols and pilot forms, scope of practice, med lists, hospital data, and other third-party resources curated by iHarig are right at your fingertips! Please note: Active internet connectivity and location permissions are necessary for all features to work. Limited or no functionality may result if these conditions aren't met. While every effort was made to ensure that the data contained is accurate and up-to-date, providers should be mindful to verify they are always operating in accordance with protocols published by the Commonwealth, regional guidance, and the providers respective scope of practice and certification levels. This app also features categorizing and filtering resources by whether or not they were a designated STEMI, stroke, trauma, burn, or pediatric center. • BEST PA EMS APP FOR IOS

The app is amazingly easy to use, it has always been up to date since I’ve downloaded it. I believe most everything is in a PDF Format l, which means you can share pages, upload things to your drive, print out pages, etc. This app is worth every penny. Thank you to the developers for putting out an excellent resource for the PA EMS community. Keep it up, please!

    Developer Response

Thank you for your review! As a PA paramedic myself my goal was to make an app I'd use that didn't rely on some hospital subcontractor to update (which always takes forever) - it's nothing too fancy but I built it in a way that let's me push out information fast. I'll keep studying how and looking for ways to improve the app, but thank you for the support!
  • Nice idea but not all features functional

    Hospital list doesn’t work.

    Developer Response

Hello! Please make sure to update to version 3.0, there was a bug in the hospital list (when geocoding) due to the app's geocode provider limiting the amount of requests per second well below what the app was sending out. This caused the app to crash when loading the geocoded results. While this limitation no longer allows the app to sort by distance, the new version does include live traffic/time/distance for any hospital you select. By doing it one-at-a-time there shouldn't be the same crash behavior as before. I hope you find the fix works, thank you for your feedback!

Doesn't do anything that saving a PDF to your phone wouldn't do. And this method includes advertisements.
