The Allegheny Health Network (AHN), EMS Field Partner application is intended primarily for use in the geographic area encompassing western Pennsylvania, eastern Ohio, northern West Virginia and western New York, but also may be utilized by those throughout the country as a reference tool. Reviews of EMS Field Partner

  • Good app. Needs updates.

Good app for a provider. Needs the 2024 protocols though.
  • Good app. Needs updates.

Good app for a provider. Needs the 2023 protocols though.
  • Needs a drug library

The ONLY thing I liked more about the UPMC EMS app than this AHN app was its drug library. It listed a comprehensive information section for every drug on the PA EMS approved medication list. Furthermore, on each drug page, it had links to every protocol where the drug might be used. It was very nice. As it stands, if I want info on a drug, I need to switch over to Epocrates. If AHN added a good drug library (comparable to Epocrates…ESPECIALLY if they added a drug calculator), it would be absolutely amazing.

Also, AHN, don’t forget, the 2021 BLS, ALS, and CCT protocols are now out.
