Can’t believe it’s free...
I know some people may be put off with a small fee. But compared to a paper cruising guide, tide charts, club guides, almanac, and charts that are all but replaced by this convenient app... it would be a bargain at most typical navigation app prices.
A few $$ might see some improvements too...
Wind filter for moorings/anchorages would be great and save time.
Similar cruising guides should be made for all areas of NZ.
Kudos to the team that made and maintains this one.

A valuable app
This app is a valuable informational tool for those of us who live here and boat the Sounds regularly. For the seasonal and occasional visitors it should be a must-have. I'd like to make a couple improvement suggestions:
First, Add some live camera views for the Kenepuru and Pelorus Sounds. This would make this a 5 star app for me.
Second, provide more url links to local Sounds businesses important to Sounds boaters - Oddies, Bow to Stern, the boatable restaurant locations, etc.

What an awesome tool to have in your pocket! A must have for anyone lucky enough to visit the sounds :)
Great Resource
Can't believe this is a free app! Great photography of each of the bays, level of detail & quality of content impressive, looking forward to cruising new sounds next season.
Better than a book
It only took me five minutes to realise that this would be a very useful sailing guide. It's great that you can download all the maps so you can still use them when you are offline. The updated tidal information on each bay makes it very useful.
Great way to explore the sounds
Wow superb app! I've been enjoying exploration of the sea drowned valleys of Marlborough Sounds. Offline maps feature is slick. Find interesting places to visit and the you can directly opens up accommodation websites.
Helpful App for getting around!
Interesting and useful info about the bays with beautiful images. 🏞 Really like the seamless switching over to more detailed maps when you zoom in on them. 👍🏻
