Great app
99 percent of the time the app is great. Sometimes it spends a while looking for the bus but cannot find it. This is mostly due to the bus being in the shop. My company uses a program called platform science that follows the driver not the unit the driver is assigned if they would do that here it would be 100 percent

Terrible interface and product
The Stopfinder app is clunky, unintuitive, and now the app has further distanced itself from accountability by removing bus routes and stops from the map. There is no use for seeing the bus moving around a giant map without context. When the app worked, which wasn’t a given, at least you can see that it was approaching the stop before yours and use that as the signal to leave the house. Further, there are no controls for what kind of notifications the app sends— why would I want notifications for busses that my kid doesn’t ride! Geoalerts for dense suburban areas are useless— it doesn’t matter if the bus is only a mile away when there are 15 stops (and thus 30 minutes) between the bus and our stop! Good on Stopfinder, though, for continuing to receive a contract with our County school system. Admirable grift.

Inconsistent
The app has not been working correctly for most of the school year. Sometimes it opens and cannot find the location, sometimes it opens to a blank screen. When it does work, my kids are either already on the bus or have arrived at school. The afternoons tend to have better results tracking the bus.
What’s the point?
This app is supposed to show the bus stop, route and bus location. The idea is amazing! Knowing where the bus is Incase we’re running behind in the mornings or the bus is going to be late for any reason. The problem is, the app rarely works. Most of the time it says bus location unavailable. In a 10-20 minute period, if I’m lucky I can see the bus location once, but if I have to exit the app for any reason, I won’t be able to find it again. My children’s bus is almost always late with generic pick up times so having the actual location would be helpful. I find it more frustrating than helpful at this point. I will point out that if you send feedback, you may get lucky and it starts working suddenly.

Bus location
The bus locator was working perfectly. My son didn’t have to wait outside for a long time or guess when the bus was coming. Now, it doesn’t show it at all and the time was changed to 20 min earlier (6:02am). It would be great to have the bus location working again.
Decent
For one bus it works fine and is helpful. But two children on two different buses is too much for the app to handle. Most often it isn’t able to locate a bus if you try to switch between the two of them. The app has to be stopped and reloaded constantly to find the location of the other bus.
USELESS
All this app shows is pick up or drop off time, bus number, name of student, grade, and your bus stop intersection. I wish it was more fluid, I would like to know where my kid is if the bus is running late.
Today, the bus broke down and my child hasn’t made it home, the school doesn’t answer after hours and transportation department doesn’t answer either. It’s been 2 hours and my kid is not back home yet, and this app doesn’t give me an eta on when the bus is going to be at my stop. Utterly useless!!
Wasted so much time figuring out where the bus is - instead I should have just started driving around like the other parent who was atleast able to pick his kids when they were fixing the bus!

Stop Finder Makes Life Easy
Stop Finder is an excellent tool. You know when the school bus is coming to your stop, and you know when the students are being delivered to the stop. Therefore you can see if you’ve missed the bus!
Morning Bus Tracker
My child attends GWES. Every morning there is an issue with the bus. It’s either too early, too late, or it doesn’t arrive. We are unable to track the bus because the tracker is either off or broken. We (parents) have contacted transportation on several occasions and have been told that the bus numbers have changed and the trackers are turned on every morning before the bus leaves the lot. We are tracking the correct bus however the bus location is almost always unavailable.

nice. need 2-way communication
This is a very helpful app. It would be nice to be able to message bus service to let them know bus is doing the wrong route and running late as noticed this morning. Bus service did send out a message after I called. Might also help to notify them that child is not riding on a particular morning.
