Reviews of Peakbagger

  • Best free tracking app hands down!

Better map layers than strava, and alltrails but free with the same ability to save maps offline, track your activities, and plan out future activities. This is the best outdoor tracking and trip planning app in my opinion!
  • Great app

Great app to explore and find mountains & trails! Smoke layer doesn’t currently work. But other then that, great app!
  • The only app I use to plan hikes

This is easily the best app on the internet for planning hikes to summits. All of the other apps are hidden behind pay walls or have paid features to make them useful. Greg and Andrew developed the website and subsequent app out of love for the mountains and sharing info openly. Many countries with topo maps are featured and the rest use Global topo, which does cost money for Andrew, so if you want to donate, please do so at peakbagger.com. I have been using the app since the day version 1.0 was sent to us beta testers and had used the website for many years before that. Peakbagger has enriched my life more than any other website could possibly hope to do.
