Missed opportunity

This app could have been the thing that made our caravan super easy to operate. The control panel in the van is always going to be harder to use but an app should be so easy. You need to get a decent UX designer onto it.

In particular, with the heating I just want a big fat ‘on’ button! I can control the heating through the EC600 control panel, the Alde control panel and the app, but not one of them makes it easy to even know if the heating is on it not!

Make this great and I’m much more likely to be another Swift....

It’s ok

Bought a new swift this year and the app is very hit or miss. The heating and hot water function is quite confusing at first, would be much better to separate these functions, just like some smart home heating apps. As soon as you leave the app you have to reconnect, and when using the app to monitor your towing and alko systems it doesn’t stay connected to your vehicle unless you have the app open for your whole journey, even then it disconnects sometimes. Principal is good and was a selling point to me but it does need some work soon.

Swift Command app

Have this app installed on iPhone and iPad for Bluetooth control when in our Swift caravan. App installation straightforward, but had to concentrate to follow instructions setting up Bluetooth. When near van Bluetooth is stable. Have made Swift aware of an anomaly of 1 hour in time displayed (BST vs GMT) when using app on an Apple device, compared to accessing on a Windows PC. Remote access over internet very useful for monitoring alarm incidents and battery condition, though ‘forgetting’ Login ID and Password can be tedious ! Developers have helped sort some teething issues I have reported, and I think this feature has a great potential if current glitches can be flagged & addressed. Also, some features which work OK on a Windows PC do not seem to work via iPad / iPhone app.

Seems to work

After reading many poor reviews of this system I’m pleased to say it seems to work fine on my van.

Very very buggy

Was a selling point for me, against a different manufacturer, and even at this early stage of use it looks very buggy. It keeps saying my caravan’s manual can’t be found due to its age.....even though it’s a 2018 brand new item.

Needs serious update

Set up to use with our new 2018 caravan but have too say I’m quite disappointed... Have to agree with the other reviews, doesn’t save details so have to log in each time and the location update is very hit and miss. Bluetooth connectivity is again very unpredictable... Great idea, but needs more work and upgrade otherwise what is the point.

Wont even connect

Absolute rubbish. Why bother to put half the settings in the app and leave only the most basic ones on the caravan panel then built an app that wont actually connect to the van. Neither my wifes phone or my phone can connect to the control panel.
Come on guys.......basic testing.....check app connects to the control unit before releasing it.

March 2018 New motorhome, poor app

Same as other reviewers Fails to stay connected, cannot turn the heating on etc so a big let down to not be able to use these functions.

Needs Work Urgently

Recently bought a Swift BaseCamp, bluetooth sort of works but is very hit and miss.
It's the remote access that annoys me. Even if I tick the remember me box it doesn't. This means typing in email and password EVERY time. I don't know if it's just me that this happening to? But it makes it very hard to keep an eye on my vehicle. Same on Mt iPad too.
Come on Sargent, please sort out this app, very much a weak spot in a possibly good system.

Still not connecting to van after 2 months.

Still unable to remotely connect to caravan despite reporting issue and seeing everyone else do the same. Wake up app support and get this fixed. Otherwise what’s the point of this app???
