If I could give 6 stars I could. I’ve used this app to update my passport twice and I really appreciate that it has never been payment locked. The easy UI and download process is great. I recommend this app to all my friends.
All the other apps out there want $20+ for shipping and handling, and are clunky, sketchy, etc. NOT this app, this one is actually made to HELP you and not take all your money.

Great and easy app that’s worth the download. It’s also free if you don’t need to order prints. Use this app to take pics for my family passport renewal. I followed their simple directions and printed my own pictures. Got half our new passports and other half is coming.
I did all passport pics thru this app for my family of 5. Easy peasy. I really do not get how some people complain this is not a free app... it looks like they have no idea that you take the picture for free and what you do with it (print on your own or use that app as we did to send them to us) is up to you. I should have use this app long time ago instead of wasting my time and dealing with screaming kids at a local photo studio.
Not sure why some reviews said it is hard to take a picture or that it is $$$. I did my family of 5 and saved easily on my iPhone, sent it to Walgreens and picked up same day. Cannot wait to go traveling again!
Just need a way to import an existing photo, resize it, align it and email formatted copies in 2x2x6 layout. Here, we want to use existing photos as opposed to snapping new photos with the app.
2. Background color is coming as gray even when I use 4200 lumen studio lights and hence could not use the PP photos. Went to Walgreens to have PP photos take professionally but all they did is lower a white screen in an aisle and use a very tiny Canon camera (so tiny it can fit in a fist or shirt pocket). Later I saw the guy filling background color with white using their application before printing copies because even their photos came with a gray background. And they charged $16 for 2 photos! So this is an issue everyone has. So we need a Fill tool to mark and fill/paint the grayish background with white.
With the above two enhancements, this FREE app will be Golden !!

This is what helps us improve the app. Using your own photo is available on our Android app. Your other suggestions have been added to our list as we are working on a completely new app that can do much more. Thanks again for taking the time to share your ideas.It has been 12 days and I not only haven’t received my paid in full delivery, but there is not even an update on when to expect it! First time using it, I was the sample case of my large family to test this app so we could all renew our passports, and this has been a very failed test, with no updates at any time in 2 weeks! My appointment tomorrow at the city office to renew, which took me 3 weeks to get, has left me with no choice but to get the pics the old fashioned way, which involves being around too many people, in order to get new pics done, and of course pay for additional pics tomorrow. Thank you so much for wasting my time and money. I would definitely choose a better option for anyone who can’t wait who knows how long for this “easy hands off service “. Severely disappointed

UPDATE: Hi, I'm following up because I haven't heard from you. I'd love to help you with this if you contact us.UPDATED: the developer did end up giving me a courtesy credit, which I appreciated. And the photos arrived about 10 days after ordering; they’re good quality. I do wonder about some of the other recent reviews though - some sound pretty canned (the one app I can’t live without? During the pandemic, when you can’t get out of this country if you wanted to?). But in the end, issues resolved and sure better than trying to DIY or go to the drugstore for a photo.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: I put through several orders using the app but never got any kind of confirmation, so I finally emailed to see what was up. Two days later I got an email saying that their PayPal system was down and that I should make sure I wasn’t charged. I wasn’t, but when I requested to pay using a credit card I was told I had to start from scratch. So it’s now a week later, no photos are on the way, and I have to hang up another white sheet to stand in front of to do this all over again. Fail. Major fail. The app team did NOT offer a comp (despite the fact that their email signature insists they will make it right). And as far as I can tell, it’s still possible to pay using PayPal, which means others’ orders are going into oblivion as well.

Update: thank you for responding to my review. Ill keep it at 3 stars, 4 stars would’ve been if it had flash. I think it compares similarly to other apps. The pro of this app is that you can download all types of photos. The con is it’s still missing a lot of features. I don’t know why the flash feature had to be removed because ppl can just turn it off if it was causing shadows for them. I didn’t end up using the photo I got from this app, because of lighting issues (I was standing in front of a window with direct sunlight but the person photographing me was causing a shadow on my face that could have been improved using flash). They are similar because although I can get all photos in color here, I would still need to edit it to fix any lighting issues (in my case, my friend tried to photoshop for me). But I used a different app with flash photo, saved the 2x2 (the only one available for free), and placed it on a 4x6 myself. Flash helps create a more professional looking photo.

I appreciate your feedback. The flash will be added back in a future version (if you have an android you can see it). We removed it because too many people had poor results due to the flash (strong shadows for example). If you are finding the app useful and really think it's great, I'd ask that you reconsider the low 3 star rank you've given my app. Anyway, your concerns are noted - thanks for taking the time to leave your review! UPDATE: Yes, you're right, but that's not what was happening. Too many people were printing the photos with the shadows. Also, most people don't have the skill to edit in photoshop. It was done to improve the experience for most people though I know it wasn't a perfect solution. I'm working on the next version to overhaul the app and include other features as well.Placed an order on March 31 for a passport photo. Even though it said it shipped on April 7, it’s May 1st and I still have not received it. I have sent two emails and still have not gotten a reply. I did receive a reply back and they couldn’t be more helpful. Apparently they were having issues with her email but have since been more than helpful.
As several reviewers suggested, I used a white bedsheet as my background to take the photo at home. Genius! At first it didn’t look good because I didn’t iron the sheet. Once I ironed it, the background looked nice and crisp. The lighting can be tricky at home but after a few attempts I got a couple good photos. We were so happy we could avoid taking the photo at the pharmacy and save money at the same time. Thanks for making the app!
