Major issue with security
This app has a major flaw. Even when you set a PIN to unlock your personal notes, there is a moment when you first open the app that you can view the contents before you enter in the PIN. Anyone can open the app and take a screenshot of the journals before the PIN prompt comes up.
This is careless from the development and testing team for this app.
Fix this and I will bump up my rating.

What's with the price?
I bought this app before and it was fine. But now im sippose to pay $5 a month just to sync back the old entries i made and keep paying forever? Seriously?! I hope the app dies a slow horrible death.
Love it? Not anymore!
A year ago, I said I loved it. Well, not so much anymore. In fact, I'm going to stop using it after too many syncing problems, too many instances of entire entries lost and absolutely NO help from their "support" people.

Great journalling app but
But its a right pain to get the photos to sync with the right day. The interface with the month calendar view is clunky. It would be better if the calendar view would have a little preview of photos like how the list view does. Because at the moment its just a grey square which tells me nothing.
The list view shows photo previews but its just a list so there is no context. Then theres the issue of trying to write a diary entry on a photo that was taken in a different timezone. It gets all messed up.

Disappointing to original Day One Classic Users
No Premium subscription discount offered to original Day One Classic Users who first supported this app. Very disappointing. We feel very ripped off.
