I turn to the Good News Network when I hit the wall on regular news coverage. Good News provides an angle on what's going on in the world that is largely missing from mainstream sources for news. I'm very grateful for Good News.Crannon4

When I was younger I used to be someone that had unyielding faith in people and their boundless potential for goodness. As I grew up, the world around me seemed intent on force feeding me only the bad things that happened in the world and gradually my opinion began to change. Don't know how I lived without it!
I got this app after listening to a sermon based on Philippians 4:8 and realizing how much anxiety reading just the headlines of standard news websites caused me! I came to understand that I wasn't "staying informed" I was focusing on all this negativity that I could do nothing but feel bad about and knew I had to make a change. This app is refreshing, showing a broad range of newsworthy stories that inspire faith in humanity and give hope. It doesn't focus on a single race, religion, socioeconomic class or orientation and reminds us that good can be found anywhere. Thank you all so much for letting your light shine!THEIrishRed
Just what I need
I stopped watching the news a few months ago. I can't take all the negativity. This app is great.

We need some good news
Every once in a while, we need to step out of the abyss of mainstream news networks, that only seem to report the shocking, horrible, and overwhelmingly negative. While staying with the current events is important, we need to be reminded that it isn't all that bad. This news network provides. It gives us true stories that can warm your heart and reinvigorate you with a sense that all is not lost. There is definitely good left in the world.RUBY4U
