Version 4.2.5 introduces numerous improvements to features, UI, and stability, along with bug fixes and crash resolutions.
Private Photo Library mode is now fully functional, allowing you to select, edit, and process photos and videos without direct access, with only minor limitations. It is still recommended to provide limited or full access to selected photos and videos, to ensure better performance and Live Photo support.
The Summary and Editing screens have been updated with an enhanced navigation menu, offering smoother workflows and additional options. The menu on the Editing screen now lets you specify a default fill color (other than white or black) for all photos and videos, removing the need to set such color for every selection.
The Editing screen also received major changes in behaviour and features:
• Added standard color picker to choose fill color for Ratio Fit mode
• Added a note with instructions on how to move a photo or video inside the size box.
• Improved the working area of position displacement gestures for the Ratio Fit and Ratio Clip modes, preventing interference with horizontal scrolling gestures
Most navigation buttons have been updated with a more modern style and behavior.
Bug fixes address essential issues that disrupted normal app functionality:
• Fixed a crash that occurred at the end of video processing on some devices.
• Fixed a bug that caused incorrect orientation for photos and videos loaded from Files or shared with the app from external sources.
• Fixed a bug that caused thumbnails to be removed from personal duplicated templates when they are updated.
• Fixed multiple minor bugs.
I don’t like the new interface at all. I can’t get my photos to resize or use a template. I used this every day for fast resizing now I’m so frustrated. Why do developers try and fix a good thing? At least give an option to go back to the previous version as it is way too complex now, used to be my favorite but I will be looking for something more simple once again!

New update 4.1.0, released on November 7, adds Home Screen modes and should fix your issue. You can now select Classic mode to use the interface as it was before. Your personal templates are in the "My templates" tab.
