Looks like a great app but can’t figure out how to record or use it

Great all but one major problem

My phone broke and I had to reinstall on my new one.

All my tickets vanished! I had 4 tickets that I simply do not have anymore. Fix this please and a refund would be nice.

Aside from this I think the app is very user friendly and gets good results.

Great app but

Great app but I can’t finish any projects on it as it always fails to upload and email the tape!

Perfect tool for actors!

This is a great App. Has everything an actor needs to Selftape. I use it all the time and highly recommend other actors give it a try.

You let me down...

Thanx for not being able to edit my projects and be late in submission if a self tape. Please work on your issues! I really did like this app the one time I used it!

Hi Kokodisneyfan, Our apologies for the editing issues. This is a known issue related to iOS 13 (previous OS versions are not affected). We are currently working on it and will release an update as soon as it’s ready. We believe in transparency and have listed this issue on the SUPPORT/FAQ section of our website which includes a workaround. You can still edit your takes using the time code as a guide. Save the take with “Create New” and preview the take from the Project Screen. Please visit our website for more details.

Awful bugs

The edit function won’t work at all. Tried tow takes, shutting down the app, downloading it again... Once you try to edit a take, it just goes to a black screen. Totally useless.

Hi JewelRitchie, Our apologies for the editing issues you experienced. This is a known issue and we have listed it on the Support Page of our website. You can still edit your takes using the time code as a guide. You just can’t preview the take during editing. You can however preview it after the edit from the Project Screen. It may require trial and error to get it right. The issue is related to iOS 13. Older versions of iOS should have no issues. Our developers are currently working on a fix and we will release it as soon as we can. Please keep an eye out for an update on the App Store. Best app for actors!

This app has made self-tape auditions so easy. I don’t have to worry about editing or file sizes. My reps love how simple it is to download the videos. It’s a must have!

Selftape Solution!

This app is very well designed. I have always struggled to compress my edited files under 100MB to send to my agents, but this app encodes the file by itself and I don’t have to worry about that! It’s portable and there are very clear, simple instructions to ensure you create a great selftape!

A great resource for actors

I love that the link never expires, so there will never be an issue of casting opening your tape after the link is gone. Editing is easy and the hard work is done for you. It’s just a shame that you need to buy tickets when iMovie is free.
