Terribly inconvenient
Love the concept of the app, but we can’t use it. We like to turn on the news and watch at our convenience and this app is perfect for that as long as you are going to sit there with the remote in your hand to constantly adjust the volume. But if you’re like us, you’re busy people & one reason the app appeals to you is the convenience of access it provides. You adjust the volume to suit you for the news, then an ad comes on & plays at top sound level, so you have to stop what you’re doing & adjust it down. If you do that, then you can’t hear the broadcast when it comes back on so once again you’re stopping to adjust the volume. For an app created for convenient access to local news, it is incredibly high maintenance.Show lessJustgrits1

i’ve been using newson for a few weeks now and i really really love it. It lets me watch my local news and the news from my college town wherever i am. Super easy to use and gives me the chance to get the news i want either on my phone or on my smart tv if i’m on the couch. Love the look and feel of the app. Keep it upShow lessJ.Adams98

Just noticed the app is totally different now, with new features (and Chromecast supported again!). Polls are cool and it’s good to have weather included. Video seems to work much better too. It’s great to be able to stay up to date with my favorite local news stations when I’m out and about.NYCRon62
