Terribly inconvenient
Love the concept of the app, but we can’t use it. We like to turn on the news and watch at our convenience and this app is perfect for that as long as you are going to sit there with the remote in your hand to constantly adjust the volume. But if you’re like us, you’re busy people & one reason the app appeals to you is the convenience of access it provides. You adjust the volume to suit you for the news, then an ad comes on & plays at top sound level, so you have to stop what you’re doing & adjust it down. If you do that, then you can’t hear the broadcast when it comes back on so once again you’re stopping to adjust the volume. For an app created for convenient access to local news, it is incredibly high maintenance.
