  • Working ok so far

I’ve had a problem with another battery alarm app that can run in the background, but every few days it started ignoring the 80% limit and charged the battery fully every time. I deleted and reinstalled it twice, so three times and you’re out.

This one works fine so far, though I’m unclear why it has to run in the foreground. I’m disappointed however that the pro edition isn’t available in my neck of the woods. Does that mean no one in the US can get the extra alarms etc? I hope that will change. I’ll write the dev and see what gives.

  • Useless

Garbage - I wanted something running in the background to notify me when my battery is near death. Guess what, this app only runs in the foreground 🙄
  • Just Make an iPhone Automation instead

The Paid app gets worse reviews on not working in the Background. You can make an Automation on you iPhone IOS 12 and up that when you plug in a charger it set an IF battery is greater than 80 (or what ever you want) set the timer for 1 Second so it plays almost right after it gets to your cut off. If you want to get fancy add a Set Volume too!

  • Great app!

I’m very happy with this app! I especially like the “calm bells” option for the alarm, very relaxing.
  • The review you bugged me for!

Doesn’t work reliably, and one gets the yell bugged out of them to purchase.
No way I will pay my hard earned money for this!
  • Alarm doesn’t sound when done

It was nice when I first tried it now the alarm sound does not go off when fully charged
  • Cannot run in background

It is a nice app and does work but cannot work when run in the background.
  • Pointless

Only works if iPad is awake and this app is on top. You can’t use the device for anything else, and with the screen on, it slows charging to a crawl.
  • App charger

Very well charger seemingly it charge faster than fast factory charger’s but off record i wonder how come google is in apple App Store. When i reviewed it said approved by apple now when I looked at review it said no details reviewed to apple what gives
  • Doesn’t really do the whole job

The problem with this app is that you have to keep it Active on the screen for it to work. If you accidentally open something else on your iPhone and forget to move back to the screen for this app, your phone will keep on charging until you look down and realize it has gone all the way up to 100%. That used to drive me crazy. It is very very easy to set up automation via a shortcut on the iPhone which will monitor the charge level at all times when you plug the phone in. It can be set to provide an alarm at whatever charge level you want. You don’t have to keep it open on the screen, unlike this one. And doing it is free.
