Need to get a dictionary
What the hell is revenue? By definition this implies making money, but it seems to measure saving money and nowhere does the app show how much you made from FIT, so actual revenue?
Why not show as $$ saved and then a % tracker of $ saved over $ saved + $ spent? This is far more useful in tracking how long to pay back your system and help convince others to invest in a system.
And why not show money saved on a graph and FIT $ made? Its only at the top of the “earn” graph so have to go in to see it.
We need to be able to analyse the data we want. Customisable graphs, tracking any variable!
I also wish there was a way to tell the battery to discharge during the day.. i put on heater and it needs a bit more than solar, and it pulls from the grid instead of the battery when theres hours of sunshine left. I could save even more if i could have some control over that.
Also the % charged amount is font size too small.
Also please learn what an axis label is. My students would fail for graphs this appalling. And yeah, add supply charge in somewhere

Great info - quick summary & detailed analysis
Have had my new sungrow system in for a few months. This app is very good for performance monitoring and more detailed analysis. It has a clean summary page and heaps of data to dive into. Very impressive! (iSolarCloud web portal also works well).
But suggestions to developers:
- recent problem started: dashboard is not rolling over each morning in our GMT+10 time zone (have to close and reopen app every day)
- numbers are way too small on the overview page on my iPhone (eg battery % is about 2mm high but there is still heaps of empty white space on the page to allow much larger fonts)
- add ability to control basic battery functions to the app (ridiculous that I have to contact the installer to make ANY changes to battery parameters or actions)
- reverse the recent layout change and put the “Energy Analysis” graph back to the top of the “Dashboard” pageShow lessKezzaInOz

New version bugs
The June update has made the app undependable. The overview frequently loses data readings while the dashboard charts have data holes that come and go. Even the top directory for a plant sometimes falsely says offline or gives only partial data while overview or dashboard have current data. In other words, data seems to be collected but comes and goes across different locations within the app. Please, get a speedy update to correct this vexing problem.
Also how about rewriting the manual and offering it as a PDF! It’s too vague, general and hard to use in the online version inside the app.Show lessSumaoji
App can’t handle a SIM card change when using data
Every time I switch my sim to Canada the app on my phone stops working. No problem with any other app. I wish that I had not gone with Sungrow.nodoors
Refreshing data
I guess since the last update the App doesn’t refresh the data fast as before. Takes mostly more then 30 min for new data.!!!Mad!!!
Live Data
Self consumption readings disappeared in recent updates. Additionally, app is fantastic and user friendly, initially live data was showing all 3 phases active power via installed smart meter but now only phase A shows the data.@man..
Was a good app but not now
I only ever used the newly designed UI which was good, I had no issues with the user ability or reliability. It had professional looking graphs and if you wanted a deeper level of data on your solar generation / usage you could find it. That is until the update at the beginning of April. The app has gone backwards big time as the graphs have been removed along with the summary analysis they provided and access to data has gone. There are now child like line graphs that are rough looking and Worse still the app is reporting the feed in and consumption energy the wrong way around. I actually researched if there was a way to go back to the previous version and there isn’t unfortunately so we are stuck with the broken app unless sungrow revert back to the last versionShow lessBuckingBuckley
So much potential, such a let down
The latest update is a step backwards in functionality. The useful pie charts of energy consumption are gone. Self consumption is gone. Feed in power and purchased energy on the daily energy page are swapped around and this stupid app shows the money earned from the feed in tariff and the money saved from self consumption as one number. I’d love to see them split so I could at least compare the feed in earned against my power bill. My power company gives me more useful data than this stupid app. Wake up Sungrow, listen to the people and give them what they want.Show lessPostie-99
