Social isolation has been shown to contribute to worsening medical conditions and depression.
Technology advances, but some things never change. We want to know our loved-ones are ok…anytime, anywhere.
With ElderCheck Now, you can let someone you know that you care about them through a simple check-in from your Apple Watch or iPhone!
After an Elder and their Caregiver BOTH install “ElderCheck Now” on their mobile devices, they create an electronic relationship that can relay more information than a phone call!
Key Features:
•Minimal buttons. Essential information. Personalized.
A check-in request is initiated by the Caregiver and delivered directly onto the Elder’s mobile device. With the press of either a green or red button, the elder responds with their heart rate,* location, and a simple status update - “I’m OK” or “Call me!” Additionally, if setup by the Caregiver, the elder will see a picture of their Caregiver every time they are sent a check-in.
•On your wrist...or the phone.
No more missed phone calls, difficult to reach landlines or misplaced cell phones. Communication with your loved-one can be an arms-length away using ElderCheck Now on Apple Watch. Your loved-one will be gently tapped on the wrist notifying them of your check-in request. The best part: they can respond with the simple press of a button on their wrist! **
No Apple Watch? No problem. ElderCheck Now runs on iPhones as well giving both Caregivers and Elders flexibility to lead active, independent lifestyles.
•Scheduled Check-Ins
Check in with loved ones before bed, at breakfast, or while on a daily walk. After the time of day and the day of the weeks is set, a check-in will be sent. Simplified peace of mind.
•Automated repeat check-ins
Life gets busy. The "Repeat Check-In" feature will automatically deliver check ins until an Elder response is sent.
•Security: on your device and through the air.
ElderCheck Now was designed with privacy in mind. De-identification, encryption, password/biometric protection, and assignment of unique identifiers were all used to ensure that only caregivers and their designated elders share information. It’s important to us because we know how important it is to you.
•Color adjustment and dynamic text accessibility. Designed for you.
Some of us see certain colors better than others. Some of us benefit from larger text on the screen. By turning on the color adjustment setting, the red and green colors are replaced by highly contrasting blue and red colors throughout the app. The text size will automatically adjust to your system preference. It's just one more way to maximize the user experience for as many people as possible.
•Health App Integration. Seamless.
ElderCheck Now uses heart rate data from the HealthKit store on the elder's iPhone, as collected by the Apple Watch. If recent heart rate data is available, it is transmitted securely to the Caregiver when checking in.
NOTE: BOTH THE ELDER AND THEIR CAREGIVER MUST HAVE ELDERCHECK NOW ON THEIR RESPECTIVE DEVICES FOR PROPER FUNCTIONALITY!

I live alone. 82. No caregiver. Would simply like a daily call to verify I’m ok. If no answer, call my emergency friend. All forms seem to require submission by a caregiver, not just an elderly person. Any help out there??!!
