This is regarding the app only, not the company. Depending on who you’re working with, schools or private students, I find the app to be very mediocre. Often times you will not be able to join a session from your phone due to restrictions, the app will often send messages that sessions are available when they are not, certain tutor features for the app are only available again depending on external restrictions. With respect to email support the response time is poor, fragmented, and rarely resolves anything. I can understand how it may seem to parents and admin that tutors are unprepared but I think there is a lack of understanding the conditions and restrictions tutors are working under. When I am working with students I enjoy my time very much and hope the accommodations I’m making are helpful despite the limitations that I have no control over.
