01 march 2024 Brave is always relatively quick to fix problems and issues. It is still the best! I recommend it to everyone who is tracking adverse.

27 February 2021 Review after latest update iPhone 11 Pro w no known issues and current on Apple updates. Brave Now drags, response time is noticeably slower. At times it seems to freeze for a few seconds. Somehow the configuration now seems Less convenient. I have not yet checked the settings to see if something got changed so it may not be a permanent problem. Opened it just now and had TWO POP UPS!!!! TWO. Both from Brave. One asking me to make Brave my default browser (it would already be my default browser if I wanted it to be my default browser). One praising themselves (for keeping us safe from ads and stuff). Opened Brave again, got to see a couple of articles before a Brave pop up. 😡 It is Saturday, I’ll give them a couple of business days. Then ⭐️⭐️poof. I knocked off one star for the pop-ups, if they continue I will knock off another star or two. First Review Works without hiccups or drag. Very easy to turn off/on features to sidestep invasive websites. Highly recommended!

Sucks ZERO STARS
Glitches, bugs, trackers, incapability of playing online videos. “Brave” enough to call yourself a working app. Who made this some 12 yr old noob?
Best browser for iOS plus…
… Brave does not artificially push social agenda’s of division. My respect and thanks. To each adult their choice, each is free to err and learn or even to err and fall. So as long as one does not infringe on another’s inalienable rights, so be it.
Really good browser
As in the title, this is a really good browser as you can use it for free and it blocks 99% of ads and works really well. Nice interface as well. I would like to see a feature to support brave by watching a completely voluntary ad as the brave team is probably not getting much money and i would like to support them.

Very good, just a few little things
Edit: Using iPhone 13 Pro, iOS 16.7.2. Along with troubles playing audio while the phone is closed, audio from one video will play over another. Also, Picture-in-Picture will be activated in-app, though the app was not closed.
Love the app: very secure, LOTS of security features and customizable settings - very much appreciated - though I have a few little things: Is it possible to add an option to stop videos on closing the phone, but still enable background audio? There are times when I need to close my phone, i.e. getting off break, while watching a video, and opening it up to pause it can be fiddley. The background audio cuts in and out sometimes while playing when I close my phone as well. I would like to request an option for a customizable background for the home screen. But I understand if that is how the app gets its ad funding. This isn’t an urgent request, but maybe have a customizable app icon, using different colors, etc.? Thank you for providing such a great browser, and I hope to hear from you soon!

No adverts at last !
I was really getting sick of loud adverts interrupting my views , when I nice lady suggested Brave , to avoid ads .
Well I’ve tested it out , and although it’s slower than safari , I think it’s great , cos there’s no adverts at all , and the security features are far better .
I think it’s slower because it’s getting rid of tracking , ads and all the badys . That’s a fair trade in my opinion .
I feel safer using it , with its great security features , and recomend the advert free viewing experence , which I did not even now it was possible , before the nice lady suggested trying out .

Brave app on iPad
I loaded Brave as my preferred search engine app only to find that not one website would open. On my phone I can click on the brave icon on the left to switch off some items so the pages would open but but that won’t open either.
Many sites no longer work correctly
Don’t know what’s happened to this browser on iPad Pro but I’ve noticed the last few months that many websites no longer function correctly. For example when filtering products the site doesn’t just update the products listed. Tried the very same page in another browser and it works just fine. Some times buttons and links don’t work or menu drop downs don’t drop down, sometimes I can’t scroll all the way down. It’s very annoying.
You can be made to think it’s a site issue but I invite you to try the site in another browser if you do have issues. Now when a site doesn’t work as expected I load it in another browser and it usually works perfectly fine. I used to think it was the sites but it happens too often to be individual sites now. After using brave for so long due to its privacy features I’ll be moving else where, as this feature is no longer a unique selling point. The issues I’ve described have become just a hindrance and nuisance to be be honest
