Waiting for new version

I’m waiting for the new ad supported free version to unlock its features. Great promise of this app, let’s hope the new version is what I need

The free ad-supported version (with in app purchases) just went live today, please get it :) Sorry about your previous experience. Yes, the app was an only-subscription based app previously with a one week free trial. Now the latest recipes section is completely free and some of the other sections you will need to subscribe for access. . We hope that you will consider revising or updating your review after seeing this! Thank you so much and we hope you will download the app again! :)

Great content, loading speeds are frustrating.

Overall a wonderful app packed with excellent content. I only wish it lasted more quickly. Scrolling and searching for recipes can be frustrating as you frequently have to wait for content to load.

My inspiration into vegan cooking

This App is the best out there for vegan meals. Every recipe I’ve made so far has been delicious. The UI is very clean and easy to navigate and the step by step instructions of every recipe are very easy to follow.

They update a handful of new recipes every single day which keeps you constantly wanting to try new things. The layout is very simple and I like the way you’re able to bookmark recipes to refer to at other times.

This app has launched me into a passion for vegan home cooking. Thanks!

I depend on this app!!

I’m an avid Food Monster user. It’s one of my two go-to sources for vegan meals. I’ve always enjoyed the layout, the beautiful photos, the options to save recipes, but what’s made me an even bigger fan is the customer service. I had an issue yesterday with the app. I emailed them in the morning and by afternoon the problem was fixed. They actually reached out to make sure it was working nicely for me.
$1.99 / mo is nothing for a true vegan to have a reliable recipe source. Great investment.

Very Poor Customerservice

I found this app fantastic personally. I was able to navigate through recipes and bookmark favourites very easily. It was a great addition to our vegan cooking knowledge. THEN I logged out one day and have never been able to get back on. The Facebook link just says you already logged in with this account, and when i try to reset my password it says unable to connect. Where I am deeply disappointed is I have contacted customer support numerous times and they have NEVER got back to me. So I have paid for a years access to an app I cannot use. It’s disgraceful. They take your money, the app glitches out and they do nothing to help you. I highly recommend that no one purchasers this app. If it goes wrong you won’t get any support.

Sign in experience was horrible - I opted out

The sign in process was terrible. I don’t want to provide info that was optional - birthdate etc. - yet it was required and wouldn’t let me progress :( Bad experience. I’m uninstalling now.

THIS IS A SCAM

I paid for the annual subscription a month ago. The money has been taken from my account but my status has not been updated, I am still unable to access the premium features I have paid for.

I queried this via the App a month ago and have had no correspondence with them.

Great for vegans or those seeking plant-based recipes

I like this app a lot. While I often use the Forks over Knives app as well, I also check this one comparing ingredients looking for alternative ingredients and methods that involve less effort for clean-up. I don’t always succeed on the latter, but I really appreciate having an alternate source. I think the price is very reasonable.

Incredible variety!

This site has so many amazing recipes...endless...so helpful as I have been making the change to plant-based. It has been smoother than I could imagine. I only wish it is possible to print them, as I still like to cook and make adjustments that I write directly in the recipe!

My go-to app every day

I cannot say enough good things about this app. In fact, I recommend it to anyone who asks me about a vegan diet. I have been using it for 3 or 4 years. I’ve only been vegan for 5 years but was a vegetarian for 35 years; I have always been an avid cook and this app is so inspiring. I love the ability to bookmark and to search recipes depending on what I have on hand. If I’m at a loss regarding what to cook, I come here to find the solution. I also make up weekly menus from the recipes posted here. Yay Food Monster!!!
