The visuals give you a much better feel for the spot than anything else, and it's so much easier to create lists and mark places you want to go.Asana user
Not Ready
So this would make sense if you could add spots and be used for actually discovery. As it stands it appears that this small lists in a few areas (aka oversized cities) of trendy spots that ignores large swathes. Look at the fact that Kansas City which is a smaller large city only has 14 spots. I'll have to follow up in a couple months to see if it's fixed.---josh----

After I transferred all of my Lists from I was happy to delete Yelp 👋🏾.
Whether you're checking out a new city and bookmarking places to check out or you're thirsty and need to find a bar before last call, Spot has all of that and more.
The one thing lacking is the ability to add your own Spots easily, but once they leverage their users they'll have the few places I couldn't find.Apocryphanow

Beautiful photos. Curated lists from FRIENDS. Fine the best bites, drinks, and sites quick and easy. Must have for those that travel. Unearth local hot spots with a tap and a swipe. Do it.Altopalo
Great app for local discovery
I have been using spot for local discovery and am really enjoying the app. It is also a nice way to connect with friends to see what spots they like/recommend. Great app.Will7462528
Cool idea, needs some more data
I love the idea of being able to organize all my favorite places into lists and see activity in different cities. However, Spot seems to be missing a fair amount of places near me. It also has a few bugs that lead to the app crashing like following a user. Excited to see future versions!alexagat

Only great stuff
I often feel overwhelmed by options of places to go I see on other apps, but Spot is awesome because it pretty much only shows stuff that's relevant to me. It makes it a lot easier to plan a night out or a trip or just find a good coffee shop in a neighborhood I don't know. I've een using the beta for a few months and can't live without it now.bbergher
