  • Kickback

    Whenever you replace a well functioning app with an new app of much lesser quality, it makes you think who made the deal and is getting a kickback? It has been over a year and this app still does not meet a high quality standard. The PB business app is not even mobile friendly! After what seems to be a recent hack with a family members PB account where money just disappeared and after 5 days, they still were making excuses, it seems it is about time to go to another bank. Regarding this app, they have had enough time to fix it at this point.
  • App and Bank are garbage

    Our bank, Limestone Bank merged with people bank and it’s been nothing but a headache. Online banking is a joke as you can’t even see what and where the transactions are. I lost my debit card and had no way to tell if they were fraudulent charges or not. As soon as I can figure the charges out I am closing my account with this bank!
  • App is not stable!

    This app fails at least once a week. I have to reinstall every time to get a few more days of functionality and then it crashes again. The old app worked perfectly for me over several years; this version has never worked properly. Calls to the bank’s IT department resulted in the following advice: “Just delete and reinstall.” Typical IT answer! My advice to IT: Fix the #%+& app or go back to old one. (Won’t let me send the review without a nickname and every one I choose is taken.)

    Response to developers’ comments/requests: iPhone X; running latest version iOS; not using a VPN. Instability possibly related to face ID log on function. I stopped using face ID log on after posting the original review and have experienced much better app performance. Face ID works well on the other apps with that feature, so I still suspect the glitch lies somewhere in the Peoples Bank app.
