So much better than before…
The Practice Panther team has stepped up their game! Their updated app is more responsive and functional than their previous editions. The app is great for managing our cases while I’m running between appointments. I look forward to putting this to better use when I travel with my family this coming year!

Everything our firm needs
PracticePanther has made it so easy for our firm to easily manage contacts, matters, client communication, and especially our billing and invoicing. We're currently a small firm but having been growing pretty rapidly and PracticePanther has facilitated a lot of that growth. Our clients love it, and our paralegals have been able to learn the system so quickly.

Staying with Practice Panther
After trying out a few other practice management offerings we are definitely sticking with Practice Panther. Great functionality, support, embedded payments, etc.
Potential is there but execution is poor
Inertia: The only thing preventing our law firm from changing away from PracticePanther to a different software platform.
This app is filled with potential but the team at PracticePanther fails to listen to their most loyal customers. As the managing partner of a midsize law firm, I’ve been using PracticePanther firmwide for three years. During that time I’ve made countless suggestions ranging from basic bug fixes to small feature additions that would make the software much more usable.
As just one example of their buffoonery, I suggested more than six months ago that they update the mobile app to provide push notifications whenever a client sends a text message through PracticePanther‘s business texting feature. After all, what good is a mobile app if the attorneys and paralegals involved on a matter have to be sitting at their desk and logged into PracticePanther to monitor for incoming client text messages. To date, PracticePanther has failed to implement this minor change. Instead, as has been my experience over the last three years, the company deployed a sub par new feature and, without regard for client feedback, moved on to what will undoubtedly be their next effort to put lipstick on this proverbial pig.

Don’t walk, run.
If you need to use this to bill your time (and most attorneys do, of course), you will hate it. They clearly rushed this thing out without testing it with actual attorneys. I’ve used ancient timekeeping software that was light years ahead of this in terms of usability. There are lots of other features, but a timekeeping program that doesn’t work well to keep time is like a car with all the bells and whistles but no engine.

Terrible customer service
We have been using Practice Panther for a year and it is continuing to delete data. We have tried to call customer support with no answer and have sent numerous emails. The product would be beneficial to use if the customer support was not so horrible.
Needs more funtionality
I love the idea of having a desktop app because I use Practice Panther so frequently. But the app isn't as convenient for billing time as the website. Probably the feature I am missing the most in the app is the multiple time entries function. I think it could also be redesigned to be more "app like." As it is, its basically just the website but on your desktop. I don't think the app needs to perform all of the same functions as the website, maybe it could be streamlined specifically for the purposes of billing time and the rest of the features are website only.

Awful
This is the worst time tracking software I’ve ever used. Constantly dealing with lost time entries when started through the timers in the app. The app looks like it was developed by an eighth grader. In 2013. The website constantly freezes and doesn’t save changes and updates
Seems insufficiently tested
The app has a lot of features but can be clunky and not so responsive. The calendar feature keeps bringing a 500 (server) error, and even if it was working could work better. There should be a superquick way to enter a task or event, but as it is the steps seem too many which discourages entering in the fly. Needs work.

Good CM product
I’ve used a few different case management programs and I really like Practice Panther. Great integration. Very clean and user friendly.
