Good idea but Annoying alerts
These alerts (a do nothing alert that pops up and goes away so fast you can hardly read it) don’t inform the user at all. They serve no purpose. But they buzz the phone even when I have all alerts disabled for the app. WHY?
I see other complaints for the same going back a long time. So what are you doing about it?

Latest version is unusable
This used to be a good app, but the latest version keeps ringing every 5-10 minutes and then hanging up. The screen flashes that it keeps trying to reconnect, but doesn’t actually do so. It interrupts work, playing music, other phone calls, etc. Incredibly frustrating. The only way to stop it seems to be to uninstall the app

Let us go back to the previous version
Wave took a great working version and replaced it with this terrible upgrade. Every 10 minutes or so we get this “wave phone reconnection” pop up which not only is annoying but interrupts a you tube or movie you are watching. You would think with all the negative reviews this version is getting that Wave would care but instead of letting us go back to the previous version which worked they don’t seem to listen to reviews.

Constant Reconnecting Notifications
There is a constant reconnecting notification that disrupts video meetings, calls and drains battery life.
I have informed customer service multiple times via phone and email and they have not resolved the issue.
Kindly update and fix this as this feature is part of a paid service/subscription with Wave.
If this is not fixed ASAP, we will be forced to transfer to another ISP which has a more stable and functioning app.

Please update for IOS 14 I really miss this app with my phone service.
Reconnecting
The latest update has ruined the app. There is a constant pop-up notification that shows reconnecting. It affects streaming apps with the pop-ups.
I’ve provided feedback within the app about this but have not received any response.

Keeps “Reconnecting” Every 5 to 10 minutes
There is a major issue with the most recent app. It keeps on saying “Reconnecting” every 5 or 10 minutes. It’s like you’re getting an incoming call when it’s “reconnecting”. I’ve even been on another call and I’ll get a call waiting beep and yep, it’s the Wave app “reconnecting”. I’ve closed the app, put on Do Not Disturb and yet it keeps doing it. It kept me awake through the night before I had a 12-hour work day. I’m having to delete the app altogether.
NI used to love the Wave phone app. Sometimes I’d be on my Wave phone (I call it our landline) but then I’d have to jet out the door. I could pull up the Wave app on my iPhone and basically transfer the call from the landline to the iPhone seamlessly. Yes I know I could’ve hung up and called back but when you’re waiting on hold for 30 mins for a customer service call, or you have an elderly relative that keeps going on, they don’t even know I switched over lol.
And you could make a call from your iPhone using the Wave app and the person on the other end thinks you’re calling from your home phone. You could also retrieve incoming calls to your home line whilst you’re out and about. That functionality has stopped for me. I’m not sure what happened but it sounds like Wave, who we pay an exorbitant amount of money to each month, has gotten greedy and doesn’t take care of their iPhone app anymore.

Recnnecting!
I have the same problem with my iPhone reconnecting about every 10 minutes. I am calling waive customer support. No resolution so far. Get your act together wave!

I had to delete the app after the last update. It’s absolutely unusable with it constantly flashing on my phone Wave phone reconnecting. Prior to update it worked well and I really like the convenience of being able to receive calls from my home phone on my cell. I would like to be able to use it again. Please update with a properly working version.

Latest Version has problems
My iPhone alerts every 10 minutes with a flash on the screen saying WAVE phone reconnecting. It had been driving me crazy for days. Then saw problem popped up when I upgraded to new version. Tried tweaking settings but still get the alert. Dumped the WAVE PHone app and Magic problem stopped. Too bad Ithis was a convenient app for years until now. I’ll try again when new version is ready to see if the bug is fixed.
