Useful subscription tracker

But has at least one longstanding bug; the monthly notifications of upcoming bills/subscription payments are semantically inaccurate. For example, instead of saying the bill is due in two days (or whatever reminder you have set), it states the bill is due in x months (which would be the service anniversary date). I’ve sent this bug report to the developer over a year ago but received no response, so here it is in review form.

Wish there was more -

The app is great, does what it says it does.
If I were to be a bit more picky as someone who like organization (and honestly I thought this app already did this but war surprised when it didn’t), I would have an option to change the color of the preset subscriptions.

The subscriptions you add yourself can change the color but not the ones that are preset. For example, my AT&T is orange.. I tried to make it blue so it can click in my head when I scroll past it which apps are what, but there isn’t even an option to change the color.

If there could just be an option where you can change the color on preset subscriptions (as my brain mostly clicks when it sees the certain color) that’ll be great!

Great app, cute icon, but some bugs

I love the look of this app and it does exactly what I wanted to - plus it’s a one off cost so doesn’t add to the amount of subscriptions I have!

I do have a couple of bugs around the iCloud syncing where my colours change and the categories I’ve set up don’t sync. I’m also not sure that the notifications that I set are working? Also, locking with Touch ID doesn’t work for me as it asks me for my fingerprint when I close the app, rather than when I open it.

If these issues are looked at I’ll be happy to update my review! Cheers

App keeps crashing upon opening

I downloaded and paid to store more subscriptions. Now once load it crashes upon opening. I deleted app and reloaded which meant I had to input subscriptions again. Once input complete app keeps crashing upon opening. App is a great idea and would like to use but if it crashes upon opening it is useless. Move onto other apps. I would give it one star but the concept is great. However it doesn’t work.

Works well and reasonable price

Works great to trak my subscriptions and is easier to use than a web only subscription service I have, that is usually a yearly subscription. Developer is very responsive to bug requests and even pushed out an update after I noticed a bug regarding syncing issues when deleting a subscription. The only thing I wish was better is an updated subscription list. I have many subscriptions and almost none of them are in the defaults. Please at least add more streaming services likes amc+ and paramount+ etc.

Great app for reminders of subscriptions

This is a great app to have for reminders of subscriptions you have to different services. Two big things I would like to see in future updates are 1) being able to manually arrange your subscriptions when looking at all of them so you can keep them in your groups and 2) is having the ability to add a symbol or picture for your subscription without having to use one that is in the app itself, like choosing from your pictures on the iPhone. Overall, great app and I would recommend it to anyone who has many subscriptions.

MUST HAVE App and Customer Service

Fantastic app for keeping track of what seems like everything are subscriptions now. Very nice layout, straight forward and leaves you asking why you hadn’t had this app earlier.

Also, I recently had a problem not being able to delete an old subscription so I left feedback within the app to report my issue. I re roved a timely response and within five days an update was done which resolved the issue. No doubt the developer is on it and takes pride in this app.

Developer responsive to issues. Deserves credit.

This has been fixed, but it was a serious enough issue that it should have never been published untested.

I'm changing my review to 5 stars but leaving the original issue for posterity. Mistakes happen but this was a fairly big one.

Previous paid functionality now locked behind new paywall.

Those of us who bought previous upgrades now have to buy them again. This includes stuff that doesn't matter like icon changes, but also cripples the app so you can't add more subscriptions.

This should have been made to affect new users only, rather than crippling the app for existing users.

I appreciate you need a sustainable pricing model, so I would understand charging old users for NEW features like categories, but charging us again for features we already had?… This could have been avoided while creating a freemium entry level for new users who haven't already paid-in.

It's not a steep charge, but the principle matters. If you're going to do this you need to be upfront in the update notes, which didn't mention anything about existing users being crippled.

it’s a dope app if you have the time to sit down with your subscriptions ready to type it in, i would suggest this for a advisor for sure that has the subscriptions on file. And sorted out; i love it. Just wish there was a automated way to punch in the subs you have like (trubill); that which doesn’t have all the banks tho

Love Bobby

I already love Bobby (been using it over a year) and I know it could be so much more. I actually put all of my bills not just subscriptions in Bobby because it’s so much more intuitive and readily available than most apps when I’m looking for a quick view of what’s coming out of my account soon.

Keep up the good work.

Get the upgrade it’s minuscule and helps the developers continue to update this awesome app.
